The food here is soo good. Every now and then I stop buying food outside because food is way too expensive and sometimes it’s just not that good. I was so hungry and walked by and wanted to finally try it after having passed it a few times… No regrets at all!!! The staff there are so patient and chill. I got the lemongrass chicken rice bowl and it was just so good. Decent prices, clean shop with seating, good flavorful food. Dk when I’ll be back but I’m excited to try some other stuff

Expensive banh mis that lacked portions, protein to carb ratio was off. Viet coffee was watery, thankfully the chicken wings were decent but a bit salty. Chicken and rice bowl was good also. Just didnt feel too good after eating something from here.

Got the lemongrass chicken bowl for takeout and loved it. I wasn't sure if the chicken would be flavorful and afraid it would be dry but it was so tender and moist! You could really taste the fragrant lemongrass flavor and it went well with the brown rice and other toppings. The spicy mayo really brings it all together with the kimchi and pickled daikon slaw. I appreciate that their brown rice wasn't dry and had a bit of flavor to it which elevated every bite.

Will definitely try their other items but I think I'll certainly order the lemongrass chicken again!

Finally a banh mi sandwich in UES that has pate and head cheese!! Baguette was also toasted and generous amount of carrots. Best banh mi in UES!!

Ordered for pick up, the joju sandwich was delicious, and the counter girl was really nice, placed my order exactly as I requested. Nice job.

I tried both the pork and chicken banh mi and they were good, though not excellent.

Meat was well seasoned and flavorful. Generous with the carrot and radish, sliced real thin almost like coleslaw - a little on the sweet side though. Could’ve used more cilantro.

Biggest gap was the bread - I’m looking for a light, airy, crispy roll that might melt into the sandwich if you were to leave it for a bit. This was more like a sub roll you’d expect to get from the deli bodega around the corner. Not a bad roll, but definitely not a banh mi roll.

Have been here a few times and have had mixed results. The ginger seitan has been odd and very chewy a couple times, but also great another time. Something is changing in their supply or cooking.

Most recently, I had bones in my Hot Chick banh mi and a piece of foil in the sandwich. Looks like the top to a sauce bottle or something. Had a hard time getting through the sandwich, the chicken was just really bad and had chunks of cartilage and bone throughout.
