Honestly, this place even better than in LA or Korea ! The staff work incredibly hard and are always friendly. I tell everyone who visits New York that they must try Jongro Gopchang. We had Large beef platter, pork belly and spicy rice cake. The atmosphere and service make every penny worth it.

The service here was amazing! The hostess willow greeted us with a smile and was very friendly! All the servers had very good service! They all cooked the food very well and gave us side dishes when it ran low without us even asking!!! I just wished they had terra beer though :(( really missed out on the beer

Tried the assorted gopchang and samgyeopsal at Jongno 5th Floor — reminder that there are actually two different restaurants under the name Jongro. And wow — the samgyeopsal is insane! Thick, juicy, and so flavorful. Definitely dip it in the sauce that comes with it. Don’t forget to enjoy the Yukhwae with the sesame oil sauce it’s served with — a perfect match.

The gopchang is also super tasty. The staff grill everything perfectly, but if you like...
