Keeping the New York food vibe alive in the Village

Our kids took us there as it is one of their favorites. We can see why. Impeccable, witty, service - and delish food.

Waitress and waiter are not very welcoming here. Paid for 3 drinks for a small outdoor table because we needed to take a few wedding pictures for 10 mins. They came over with bad attitude and asked us” how many pictures we need to take?” It’s not like we using your table for free or doing something crazy. After we finishes, we wanted to grab a bigger table cuz we had 4 people and wanted to order more. They told me that bigger table is not available to us when it is literally empty and nobody was waiting. I never had such a terrible experience at a restaurant in NYC especially on my important day. The way they looked at you and talked to you is very hostile. We even tipped them even though they did nothing but being intimidating the whole time. You are welcome.

I visited Joseph Leonard after work during a weekday, a recommendation from a friend who’s been there numerous times. Definitely lived up to expectations. The food was good, served in a cosy local setting by genuinely lovely people. Also enjoyed the open kitchen layout, adding to the lively atmosphere. The cocktails were also a highlight.

Pleasant bar with a cozy atmosphere, fast service by friendly employees. We ordered the cauliflower, bruschetta and fries and enjoyed them very much. The prices are not much higher than other restaurants.

The host is an absolute gem! We came in after signing our lease in the neighborhood and he made it into a lovely celebration. The food is tremendous and this is definitely our new neighborhood go to!

Food is excellent and the service is great, but I had to wait 35 minutes for my table to be ready despite having a reservation. That was upsetting for me and my party.

We stumbled across this place one day while on vacation walking around Greenwich Village and the food and drinks were delicious. I had their fried chicken sandwich which had pickles and ranch on it and just a little bit of honey or something sweet and it came with either fries or salad, and my hubby had trout which he said was amazing.

Excellent food and great brunch. The chef was nice enough to give me their dinner steak and fries for brunch. The Sparkling Rose selection they had was on point and the service was phenomenal. We will definitely be back.
