One of our favorite spots for brunch in New York. We love the relaxed, cozy atmosphere and the food is excellent. Their French toast made with French baguette is a unique touch. Located in one of the most charming neighborhoods in New York, Joseph Leonard is always a great choice.

Joseph Leonard in the West Village is a cozy gem that nails every detail. The creative cocktail was vegetal, bright, and perfectly balanced to set the tone. Deviled eggs were silky and tangy perfection. The mushroom salad was balanced earthiness, hands down the best I've ever had. Roast chicken was juicy in a perfect sauce; petite steak was tender and richly flavored. Warm attentive service and intimate charm made it unforgettable. Pure comfort with zero pretension. 5 stars. Good meal, bad ending. Post dinner, tried to grab a drink at the bar (not even 11). Staff told us, “we're not serving anymore.” Instead of a simple glass of wine, we had to leave and find somewhere else. So much for hospitality. Left a really bad taste in our mouths for JL.

This is the most quintessential West Village restaurant - quaint, cozy, rustic and kool! The food is delish, with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients. Our waiter was so friendly so fun and most importantly we left feeling so satisfied with everything we ordered. Highly recommend!
From the insanely excellent service from wait staff, to the delicious craft cocktails and divine food, Joseph Leonard has got to be one of my new favorite spots here in WV!!! 100/10 recommend. Great location. Cozy atmosphere. Their petite steak and burger was hands down some of the best!

Brunch at Joseph Leonard is great. We were a party of three and managed to get a walk-in at the bar. We ordered the omelette, egg sandwich, and french toast - all so fresh, delicious, and elegant. I thought the egg sandwich was one of the best I’ve had. I do think they should keep at least one gluten free bread option.
