Arrived here after a lovely stroll through the historic east village. Upon arrival, was greeted warmly by the bartender (woman) kindly asking for identification. She poured our drinks with a smile and we were able to sit at one of the many open tables. Long time east village dive bar. This was Anthony bourdain’s favorite bar for a midweek beer I believe. Anyway come by. Order a beer. Chill. And just mingle with the locals. Rock on!

I can’t belive you all are still there!
Has the bar changed hands at all since the late 90s? Josie’s was our goto for a little pool, some companionship and ice cold mug beers for cheap.
And you all had one of the last working pay phones in all of NYC.
