I highly recommend this place. If you are in New York don't miss out a very good restaurant in terms of ambience and food/wine.
Spectacular! After four courses and a long leisurely dinner - a birthday celebration, I can happily and assuredly say Jubilee is exceptionally good. We are big fans of French food and this is truly some of the most delicious food we've had in quite a while. Service was warm, but never intrusive and always professional. In addition, every course was better than the last! (Far too many restaurants can handle appetizers, but fall apart when it comes to entrees- NOT Jubilee!) Btw, no matter what entree you have, please ask for the haricot verts on the side! Wow!! I love a string bean, but these are crazy good! (I'm sure it's massive amounts of butter, but sooooooo worth it!!!) We had beet salad & escargot to start, salmon tartare & comte cheese ravioli for our second course and Dover Sole & Filet Mignon for our mains. Exceptionally well prepared, each dish. After all that we were surprised by a comped dessert- a sort of chocolate mousse log with a birthday candle. So thoughtful! All this to say, we will be back and soon! We will definitely not wait till the next birthday celebration for our return visit! Could not recommend Jubilee more highly!
Wonderful food and setting! Service was slightly hurried, not providing us the ease of dining Jubilee usually did.
QUALITY FRENCH CUISINE - We always have a fine meal at this cozy and welcoming neighborhood French bistro. The food is reliably excellent, many standard choices plus daily specials. We have been many times and will again when we next visit NY.
Food was delicious and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. They surprised us with a beautiful birthday dessert. Will definitely be back!
We had an excellent dinner at Jubilee this past Friday! My husband enjoyed the mussels, and my filet mignon was top notch. Jubilee is a great neighborhood place with friendly staff. Looking forward to returning.
Decided to try this neighborhood restaurant for NYeve dinner. Food and service was great. Low rating because hostess led us to the worst table when the restaurant was not at all busy. Asked for a different table for which she ultimately accommodated us.
We went in for NYE and ate at the bar so we could watch a bowl game. It's a lovely neighborhood place we go often. The bartender takes great care of everyone who dines at the bar. It was a special menu due to the occasion; traditional French specialties. The duck breast was amazing. The foie gras is always excellent. They have a good French wine list and very seasoned staff. It's a regular spot for many folks in the neighborhood. Great service and very reliably French menu.
I love Jubilee and had a terrific meal there last night. Of the three excellent courses, I have to single out the really superb Grand Marnier Soufflé! The service was efficient and pleasant and the ambience civilized and comfortable. One criticism: the bathrooms, now unisex (which is fine), do not lock. They need to address that.
My wife and I dined on the confit du canard (duck leg) offering on the regular menu. We are partial to confit du canard and Chef Luc's rendering of this dish was one of the best we've experienced both here in NYC and in France. The meat was flavorful, moist and falling off the bone, skin crispy, just the right amount of fat to insure flavor. It was accompanied by a rich, dark. sauce which was a treat in and of itself. My wife and I like Jubilee for its having maintained high standards. In short, it's a real French restaurant

Everything was good but the service which was very rushed with the waiters behaving like they had to get home early. They did not ask whether we wanted any bread (had to ask for it), did not take time to tell us about the specials (had to ask for it), asked us 5 times whether we wanted a drink, cleared dishes immediately as soon as we had the last bite, poured more wine and water in our glasses every 5mins once we had a few sips, took away the wine bottle while not sure there was some left, etc. Again it felt very rushed.
A quick trip to NYC staying at the River Club around the corner with no reservations nearby when the manager told of great meals at Jubilee. We walked around the corner and had a tremendous, top-flight meal in a darling French-motif spot. Fabulous food, great wines, incredibly careful service
Jubilee was recommended to my wife and I by several different people as a must when in NYC, and with good reason. The food itself is wonderful (especially the seafood), but the main act is the staff and atmosphere. By far the best service I have had, ever. The staff was so far ahead of us on what we would need we were able to really sit back and enjoy the vibe. And if you are ever curious about something or need a recommendation, ask. I am 99% sure everyone there could plan out a night for you just by looking at you. Truly impressive.
Fantastic food and the waitress was a gem. Anyone wait staff who can put up with my friends while drinking and have a laugh while doing is a person you want serving your food! Really enjoyed myself.
We just heard that Jubilee is definitely closed as of 2/1/2022. We are very sorry as they were one of the few places opened during the pandemic times. Unfortunately another good neighborhood restaurant going down. Open Table should update their files.
