Employees too busy talking and cursing rather than doing their job. Manager should give them a pep talk asap.
This is my neighborhood smoothie place.
Have tried it a few times. Staff is consistently hostile towards customers and seem angry that they have been asked to make smoothies.
Every time I place an online order it is delivered with items missing. Yet they charge my credit card for the full amount and I have to email them several times to get a response, which took an entire week last time. The phone is disconnected so there is no way to contact the store, and no one calls to offer a replacement item or to say something is out of stock, they should have accurate inventory displayed on their website. If I didn't follow up or check the order they would have received payment for items I never received.
Açaí bowls were delish and Luis was great!!
I had high hopes for this place, but overall, the experience was underwhelming. The açaí bowl was just okay—not terrible, but nothing special either. What really ruined it for me was the music. The lyrics were completely inappropriate, especially considering that children also come here. I had planned to dine in, but the atmosphere made me so uncomfortable that I ended up taking my bowl to go. Definitely not the vibe I was expecting.
Sad because on one hand I really enjoy the types of smoothies offered here - but on the other hand I do not think it is a coincidence that the last three times I've gotten one I have also become sick later in the day either.
I really wanted to give this place a fair shot because everyone there is very nice! But I don't know what is put into those smoothies that can make someone so sick the way I've been experiencing. And it wasn't always this way.
Worst service of any juice bar I’ve been to. The workers really do not want customers.

So crazy loud in here i had to use ear plugs. I’m pretty sure the level of the music is bad for your health. And i’m a rock musician with hearing damage.

12 minutes after ordering my smoothie i was presented the completely wrong smoothie and informed the person making it it was not what i ordered (there was no other customers in the store). 9 minutes after that i was presented a second wrong smoothie but at this point having spent over 20 minutes waiting i simply left with the wrong smoothie as i was going to arrive late to an event. all three employees were chatting and standing around rather than doing their job. for $15 and 20 minutes the least they could do is make me the correct smoothie

Google says open, employee has the door locked and looks me right in the eye and keeps texting, doesn’t let me in. 7:15am on Tuesday 8/27.

I wish I was making this up, but 45 mins after ordering 2 açaí bowls we have yet to receive them. Completely incapable employee working, who puts zero effort in and does not give customers what they ask for. Do yourself a favor and do not step foot in this establishment.

I’m disappointed, Juice Press has gone down a lot in quality. I got two smoothies from this location this week and neither one was good (cacao blueberry and blue magic). There was no flavor either time, and the blue magic just tasted like banana paste and water. I recommend going somewhere else for your smoothies and açaí bowls.

Decent selection of smoothies made in front of you with multiple coolers of juice/coffee/plant milks. I inquired about the protein in the smoothie and simply was told it was plant based. Overall not a bad price for nyc
