Juicy Lucy's is a neighborhood staple. It's places like this that make the East Village so great.

Great juice!! Got the jr's skin fixer and it was the perfect juice for a warm day
I have been a Juicy Lucy customer for over a decade—they make the best fresh smoothies and juices in the East Village. They're always made fresh on the spot before your eyes, and they're always really, really good. Their coffee and baked goods are also fantastic. I really like supporting this place, because it is so small, because the staff always seem happy in what they're doing, and because they are doing so many things so very right with their food and drink. It's kind of an Alphabet City institution. Like the other reviewer said, if you're looking for a restaurant, this isn't one—but what it is, is a fantastic neighborhood juice bar with really lot of vegetarian and vegan options (I don't think they have any non-veg items at all).
This place should be listed as a juice place, rather than a restaurant. It sells juices/smoothies and related items, such as acai bowls. They have a bunch of vegan items, but not all is vegan. This place is teeny--no place to sit, except for a small outdoor bench. The juices here are fine and healthy, and it has a down home, friendly, Lower East Side vibe that many might find quite attractive. It also has a (even smaller) annex in the form of a kiosk on 1st Street and 1st Avenue (albeit with different opening hours).
They have horchata & morir soñando
I love the skin fixer - pineapple, apple & cucumber.
Honestly this might be my first food review ever, but that was the lousiest, most sub-mediocre smoothie I’ve ever had, bland basic and overpriced - every time I go to this place I am totally underwhelmed, and this was just barely drinkable (their smoothie blends range from boring to weird - DO NOT try their ‘banana-chai option) I like supporting local businesses but this place has got to step it up - probs my first and last food review, something had to be said lol (ps: FTP!!)
A cool, small coffee shop in East Village, close to the popular First Park. They offer a variety of freshly pressed juices, cookies, coffee in different styles, tea and other hot drinks. I wanted a hot apple viser, but they were out. The coffee didn't taste so much, but a pumpkin qalnut cake was delicious. Very nice lady working there. The place itself has a joyous atmosphere. The rainbow bench made me happy.
I come here when I'm waiting for the M15, so I'm here very often. The coffee is great and super refreshing. The juices are also fresh. They also serve some beautiful and varied açai bowls.
