For me - the best pastries in the area, croissants and sweet pastries are very delicious. I come here several times a week, and I really like the service and quality of the product.

Their iced matcha lattes are my absolute favorite in this neighborhood, and their chocolate croissants are unreal!!
Excellent product, churlish service.

WE ARE NEVER BUYING FROM HERE EVER AGAIN! We have been coming to this location for years. This is the most upsetting experience I’ve had. We bought a pistachio twist however the cream inside was SOUR, tasted like it was spoiled. Naturally we went back to the bakery and asked the staff to exchange to a fresh one. However we were met with rude attitude and were told that there is nothing they can do and refused to refund or exchange.
SERIOUSLY? You would rather lose a loyal customer over a spoiled pastry than doing the right thing and give a new one as exchange? This is just wrong on soooo many levels.
In a city with hundreds of bakeries, we will NEVER come back, and we will share this terrible experience with all of our friends and family.

My husband and I both think this is the best croissant we’ve had in Manhattan. The service had also always been very good
Overall, it was a pretty bad experience. The service people were unpleasant and not welcoming.I got a variety of patisseries and most of them were not fresh and tasted pretty bad.

This review is for the particular person working at this location. A young man with lots of tattoos who has dirt under his nails, scratches his head, handles cash and other items, then serves food with no gloves on. Today bought my salad, coffee and sandwich. He handled my coffee with dirty hands, then put one glove on, took sandwich, placed on bare table with a single sheet of paper that didn’t wrap the sandwich. I asked to make extra wrap- he turned his back and started with another customer. (We had only me and the other person just came in). Few months ago I got salad that was spoiled and I brought back. Same person took salad, smelled that it was not fresh, yet told me about their non refund policy. I left my contact upon his request- never got reimbursed. The other two ladies that work in this location are always polite and have proper food handling skills.

One of our favorite sourdough of all time, and painting reframing flakey to bring joy to the senses, with their croissants. also we had a family emergency and they were extremely accommodating… An incredible business.

The coffee is good but drinking a short espresso out of a paper cup is similar to drinking fine wine out of a styrofoam up. Wish they’d have a proper porcelain cup for people drinking coffee in house.

Great place to grab a real french sandwich. A little bit pricey.
Proper French bakery! Great croissant.
