Hot take this is the weakest pour in the west village and way over-priced.

This place I guess is the oldest gay bar in New York City. Unfortunately, they are taking advantage of that and the drink prices are outrageous. My husband and I stopped in on vacation and ordered a Titos soda and a Captain/diet and it was $24 or 28 just for two drinks!! The food is actually pretty cheap and tastes really good and they hand cut all of their french fries so that part was great but the drink prices are ridiculous. We went to a couple other gay bars, including Gym bar and Ty’s bar and the drink prices were less than half what they were at Julius’.

My favorite gay bar in the city for a mellow vibe. The food is always great, the drinks are reasonably priced, and there’s always at least a few hotties. The music is usually a good sound, it’s a chill place I love it.
I'm writing this review specifically for the employee Chad one may often come across in front of Julius'. It is impossible to have a poor day if you've encountered him. He is such a joy, the sunshine on an overcast day.

Stopped in for a couple beers while waiting for a seat at a nearby tea shop. I had a couple of Narragansetts which were priced at $8 per pint which is traditionally for Manhattan. All the drafts were macros. They had two bourbons: Makers and Bullett. Seating was spaced out making it a good spot for groups. Super busy in the middle of the day on a Sunday.

My favorite dive that happens to also serve one of the best burgers in all of NYC.
Historical. Gay. Vibe. It’s a friendly local bar to end your day and start the night. The bar food is hearty. The staff are fab. The crowd are mostly partnered New Yorkers trying to be SJP or Samantha from SatC but half of them probably don’t know the reference. But it’s definitely a vibe.

THE neighborhood gay bar in the village. An institution. Strong drinks, good food ($12 bacon cheeseburger? Yum for a bar burger!), and good crowd. Some of the bartenders need a little flagging down from their phones, but… eh. Go-to west village gay bar ?

No cozy bar. Hispanic bartender although I ordered my drink in Spanish, answered me in English ( speaks up in Spanish with his bar partner) arrogant!
Still the village's best neighborhood bar!
