Whenever I googled must visit restaurant in NY, Junior always came up so my kid and I decided to have a lunch here. We were seated immediately on Wednesday around 1:30pm. The restaurant was still full but the service was quick.First came the sides which were amazing! The pickles, pickled cabbages & pickled beets were delicious! I could just ate them alone.- Kid's cheeseburger meal with french fries & ice tea: the burger looked big for a kid version but my kid finished it all. The buns were soft and the patty was flavorful and juicy (perfectly cooked). The french fries were ok - could have been more crispy.- Matza ball: good cup of soup on rainy day. The broth was good and the ball itself was savory, soft, and very filling.- Chocolate egg cream: this was my first time having egg cream but I was not too impressed. I wish they put more chocolate syrup as it was diluted down.- Cherry cheesecake: cheesecake was creamy and very decadent. The cherry sauce on top was a bit too sweet for my liking.

Dry hamburger, previously cooked bacon and served cold. Unfortunately the food completely failed to meet expectations.The place is nice and the service is excellent and fast. Too bad about the food again.

I ate cheeseburger and must admit, one of the bad ones.. Ordered well rare to medium and got ultra well done.. very salty, had no taste, it felt like I was eating cartoon..
This diner is hopping! We went for the New York Cheesecake and were not disappointed! My husband had an espresso, and I had a coffee to pair with our desserts. We waited about 10 minutes on a Friday night, not bad at all! The staff was quite friendly and the interior decoration is beautiful.
