Great spot for date ?No house wine but bartender’s wine choice was awesome.I live near this neighborhood and weekend was always full. So I visited here on Tuesday night. One little thing from my own perspective : Weird restroom ?Downstairs (bit steep stairs) and you can watch people preparing food near the restroom entrance ? wasn’t a big deal for me but I thought it was interesting to watch the cooking area.

Went here first with 13 year old son and wife. We tried a handful of dishes and they were all fresh, properly cooked and seasoned and tasted great. The place is cozy and has a few antique ovens which we're very cool. The wait staff was so awesome. Friendly, helpful, personable and like the food great.Aside from above tried two deserts and 1 glass of wine all in line with the rest of evening. There was a table for 20 set (birthday party) and the restaurant decorated table beautifully in candles, flowers, etc.We will 100% be back and can not recommend enough.

We accidentally stumbled upon this place because of a deal we found online, and we're so glad we did! The service was some of the kindest we've had in NYC (which is hugely important to me), the space lively and the food incredibly well executed. We truly loved everything we tried but the ribs and lamb skewers were our standouts of the night. Our server told us the ribs would fall off the bone and she was spot on. Had a fantastic experience and will be recommending to friends. Thank you to our Friday night server in the black and white striped top with brown hair (because there were two people with similar tops, lol)! **My two notes of cautions for anyone with a physical disability or hearing impairment: you have to go down some pretty narrow stairs to get to the bathroom and the restaurant can get quite loud.

The food and the service is top notch. The owner really cares about her establishment and her customers. Order anything and you won't be disappointed.

By far, one of the worst dining and service experiences at a place where I had high hopes. On a low key Monday night, the staff completely forgot to put in my order. The first issue is that when you need them for water or questions or making an order, they disappear or are too preoccupied with their phones to pay attention. When I finally did get their attention and gave my order, wait staff neglected to tell the kitchen, and when they finally did tell the kitchen, the kitchen forgot to make it. They just seemed to pile one mistake on top of the other as I sat there watching everyone except me get their food served. In the end, it took over 60 minutes to get a slider and mac and cheese on a Monday night when the restaurant wasn’t even very crowded. Here’s the best part. Guess how they fixed it? Instead of comping a drink or an entree or taking 15 percent off the check for the abysmal service, they comped me the $6 slider. That’s it. They made mistake after mistake, then took the cheap approach to making it right. The restaurant staff still wanted to be fully compensated for starving me and falling very short of doing a good job. So disappointing at a place where I thought I’d have a much better time.

The tables were so close together that you couldn’t scoot the chair out and the hostess just left us there to figure it out, and didn’t ask the other patrons to shift at all. We ended up leaving bc we were so uncomfortable since the table was digging into

underwhelming and expensive food in a completely hectic and overpacked environment. a very limited menu for those who don't eat red meat.

I’ve been here twice, and both times really enjoyed the food but been put off by the service. The first time they just seemed severely understaffed - it took more than 90 minutes to get our food from sitting down. The second time, it felt like our reservation was not honored. They squeezed 6 of us into a 4 person table. The waitress then proceeded to be sassy when I asked about my nut allergy, and generally did not seem to care about accommodating. With that said, the food was really good both times.
