Super authentic and good quality quantity 👌

Good food. But giving 3 stars as the food tastes nothing like what it does at their Indian restaurants. Very disappointing. We ordered the food on uber eats

Smelled like poop inside and they have a C health rating. We went to nearby Pongal instead

DHAVAN MEHTA

Good pure vegetarian place with couple of jain options. We had Jain chana masala and pavbhaji. Chana masala was good. Pavbhaji was ok.

Great experience overall. Wonderful tasting food at the NYC location. Highly recommended. (I’ve been to 2 other locations across the world - Bengaluru and Atlanta.) Amazing to see the quality and taste they’ve maintained in all locations.

This is a vegetarian restaurant.

I went during lunch time for lunch special which comes out to be $20 with taxes . The quantity was way less that even after paying $20 for lunch I was still hungry. When requested to provide half naan or more rice I was told it will be extra. Super disappointed

Ordered pav bhaji (super duper flavorful, highly recommend), spinach dum biryani (extremely mildly spiced), tandoori stuffed mushrooms (kinda greasy) and veg fried rice (very flavorful, highly recommend). Everything tasted great! The only (and biggest) problem I had, was the restroom! It screamed “dirty”. I felt so disgusted to be in there, it almost felt like my hands would be cleaner if I didn’t touch the tap there. Taking 2 stars off for that. Very improperly maintained and a good reason not to return.

Run away as far as you can. Worst ever experience in food. The food was utterly tasteless. It's naam bade aur Darshan chotte. Translation: Big brand name but worst experience. If the franchise owner ever visits this place they are definitely shutting it down. The staff was too busy chitter chattering so couldn't pay attention to their guests. I literally walked up to the staff to request extra chutney. You ask for 4 to go boxes they give you 3. They charge 18% you gratuity for 4 guests!!!

We ordered ragda pattice, cholle bhature, tava paav bhaji & corn crispy basket. None of these tasted anything close to those dishes. Their chutney are horrible. Service sucks. The Pau was more than a week old.

The chairs are broken too

Paneer lababdar (5/5), garlic naan (5/5), service girl (5/5), ambiance (3/5), washroom (1/5). Been here a few times and the taste is consistently great.

Vegetarian options: Many! Start with naan and paneer lababdar. Didn’t like the appetisers (manchurian was burnt).

Dietary restrictions: Might contain gluten

Parking: Just book a cab

Kid-friendliness: Yes

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes it has a small ramp
