Oh so delicious! I really liked this place! The dishes were unique and delicious. The whole place shows that the owner and staff care about their restaurant. I try to never go to the same restaurant twice in NYC but Kalye is one I'm coming back to and bringing more people. People need to be turned into this place. Oh and those purple desert puffs... you haven't lived until you've had them... so, yeah, get'em.

I would definitely recommend coming here with a group of at least 3-4 people. The food is soooo delicious and amazing in flavor! Part of eating this traditional platter is eating with your hands & it is soo much fun!! And the desserts are delicious too! I would definitely recommend the homemade ice cream sandwich! The servers are extremely helpful if you are confused about any dish and they are more than willing to give recommendations!

Like a little hole in the wall, we stumbled upon this homey filipino cuisine. It was a little bit of a tight squeeze but the food was great! We ordered a bit of everything and shared family style just so we can try different things. The lumpia was fresh and crunchy, the lechon was popping (however half of it was basically fat so that was disappointing). The halo halo was refreshing and the ube icecream hit the spot for dessert. Service was quick and attentive. Great if you are looking for a quick meal!

My experience at Kalye restaurant was fantastic. From the delicious sisig to the fun boodle fight, every dish was a hit. Sure, the calamansi juice served in a can was a bit unexpected, but I went with the flow and embraced the local custom. Despite having to wait an extra 30 minutes for our reserved spot, I understood that these things happen in busy establishments. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience filled with great food and a vibrant atmosphere.

Seriously delicious. Came here for the vegan mushroom sisig. Also tried the Laing and garlic rice. I’m salivating just thinking about it again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for Filipino comfort food but vegan.

A little gem serving delicious Filipino food. Menu is typical and pork heavy, but the service was attentive and excellent. Server made some excellent recommendations and checked in often, despite a really busy Friday night. The place was small so a reservation is highly recommended. Great and energetic crowd.

Nice cozy spot for Filipino food. Probably one of the best spots for Filipino food I've tried in the city. The service was super chill and attentive. Definitely need to come back again

This place is so good if you want to try some authentic Filipino food! I came here for dinner with a group of friends and they ended up surprising me with some treats for my birthday at the end. Great place to have an intimate gathering. The staff was very accommodating and service was fast. For the food, since we had a semi large party, they recommended we order their Club dish, which has a little bit of everything on their menu. When the order came, we were shocked at how much food there was! It came on a huge bamboo board and was laid out in such an organized yet pretty fashion for family style sharing - almost like a charcuterie board. There was so much food that it honestly could have fed 4 people (the menu says 3). The lechon was my favorite part of the platter and the pork skewers were a close second. There was also chicken wings, lumpia, beef, and garlic rice to go with everything. When the cake and dessert starting coming out, the staff got festive and blasted some music and even gave us some complimentary order of their ube buns and some wafers which was so sweet of them. Overall I had a great time celebrating with my friends at this establishment - I will be back to try their other dishes!

The service here was great, and the staff was very friendly. I really appreciated the vegetarian options they had, such as the Laing and mushroom sisig. The portions were on the smaller side though foe the price but luckily we were able to get an online deal. Some of the flavors were a bit more muted but the dishes were good nonetheless. I liked the Laing, but it tasted a bit different than what I've had in the Philippines. I wondered if they used a different type of green here. The mushroom sisig was good but a little bland. The ambiance was good, but note that all the seating is bar height.

Didn't come as a guest to dine but for employment. It was a one day trail which was a experience and introduction to Philippines ?? food and culture. I worked side by side along the young Chef as she executed proper techniques for the cuisines served at the restaurant ?. All the employees were polite and friendly.
