Visited on the last day of my trip to New York and was craving a sweet treat to end the journey. The staff were lovely and prepared my order quickly—an iced yinyang (tea and coffee) and an iced lemon tea. We also ordered the original and pandan cakes, which were light and fluffy. Hopefully, I’ll get to visit again!
Super cute and small shop. They have original and flavors - I went at the end of the day and they had original, chocolate, and banana chocolate left. Ube is the first to sell out. The banana chocolate was delicious! 1.50 each.
$1.25 for plain, $1.50 for flavored
I had the ube, pandan, and rose lychee (which had a strong, but not unpleasant, artificial rose flavor). I liked the ube the most.
The sponge cake is denser and chewier than other sponge cakes I've eaten at Chinese bakeries, a very addicting texture.
The place has a surprising amount of seating.
