we asked for the bill and left a 18% tip to round up the price, after the waiter told us that a minimum 20% tip was mandatory and she said it with a very rude tone. We asked her to show us where it was written that the 25% tip was mandatory, after some arguing SHE TOLD US THAT SHE HAD LIED ABOUT THE MANDATORY TIP AND THAT SHE WAS REQUESTING IT ON HER OWN, WITHOUT THE BUSINESS KNOWING.

The food was fine, but extremely small portions and the service was unbelievably horrible. I would not recommend coming here.
My friend and I went for restaurant week and we were waiting for 10 minutes for the hostess to even show up (the restaurant wasn't even busy at the time). After we ordered from the RW menu - app, entree, dessert - the portions were extremely small, the appetizer was the largest of the dishes so we ended up ordering additional food. I had a glass of wine, my friend did not, but we got charged for two glasses (something we didn't notice until afterwards unfortunately). After we finished the additional food, we still hadn't received the dessert from the RW menu, yet we were brought the bill. So we had to remind the waitress that we didn't even receive all of our food. We also said we'd like to put the bill on one card, but she ended up splitting it and charging half to one and asking for a new card for the remainder which was frustrating.

Portions are tiny. They call it a “hand roll” but it’s essentially a regular sized piece of sushi in seaweed
Very expensive for what it is

Had takeout at Kissaki Omakase. They delivered from Hudson Yards all the way to the Upper West Side, which was nice. The sushi was solid, and the packaging from the takeout was the best we have ever seen. I'd definitely order from here again!

The sashimi and sushi, very good. The shrimp tempura is inedible. The veggies we're deep fried like chicken Mcnuggets. Frozen precooked shrimp and veggies then deep fried. Horrible. Worst shrimp temperature I've ever tasted. Staff, very friendly, accommodating. Not their fault. Owners should be embarrassed. This is not a real Japanese restaurant. Don't come here.

The food here is ok but the service is terrible. I ate here last week with my wife and we felt that the servers there were very unprofessional. We sat in a table and were given the wrong order. We also waited over 20 minutes for the check and had to ask the sushi chef for it because the servers kept chatting and forgot. I am very dissatisfied with this experience and will not be coming back.
