Excellent value. Standard Indian food with a large serving of rice and a plate sized piece of naan.
Best Bangladeshi food
Amazing Kashmiri Chai and Gulab Jaman. Glad to find authentic taste in NY after coming from Toronto.
The only place I go to eat when I come to New York. Every near seasoned to perfection. I've seen other places serve lamb unseasoned and it's a no go. Kashmir9 will forever stay with me. First time eating here in 5 years. So greatful they stayed in business throughout covid and didn't close doors.
very tasty
Love it.
Delicious and economical.
Taste of food is good, but in general cleaning and ambience is disappointing. Prices are just ok, They have a bad practice of serving multiple curries in same plate and thus the original taste of each curry is ruin .Serving in cheap quality disposable plates results with potential of curries overflowing ,they have sitting area but untidy and not recommended if you are with family..
Good food, fair price.

I went there for lunch and believe me, that is the best Halal food restaurant in Manhattan. The food was delicious and the service was also great. Highly Recommend!!!

Great vegetarian options, sizable portions, and prices are pretty good considering the area!

I went there for Baklava.
And for $4 I got the best deal.
They sell variety of biriyani and curry on the counter. The chai was amazing. Most people order their food in Hindi and Urdu I guess. I will be back soon to have biriyani.

Went into this place on a whim while passing by at lunch time.
Food: I had the kofta/unda with 2 seekh kababs, a can of coke and 1 naan. The food comes in either small (which in my case was $7.50) or large (no idea how much that is). Yea, that's TWO kofta's and ONE unda for $7.50. That sound you hear is your grand daddy screaming from his grave that you paid that much for that little. All in all, it came out to $18 for all that. Either way, I understand. Manhattan pricing.
Pricing aside, the food was good. The kababs were different in texture than your typical south asian places (you'll understand when you try), but the taste was the same.
Service: I walked in. I was greeted. The person took my order. The food came out within 10 minutes, and it was nice and hot, and the order was correct. I'm happy.
Atmosphere: If you've been to Lahore, you don't exactly get 5-Star restaurants with immaculate decor. The same can be said here. The problem? No one told these fine folks who came from overseas that they should... OHIDUNNO... not make a restaurant look like you want to throw up? That's the thing I'll never understand about desi restaurants. Besides that, there were a lot of happy people in there when I was there, so that is something positive to say about the restaurant and staff.
All in all, I enjoyed the food. I would come back if I'm in the area, but I won't go out of my way to come back. I graded fair, in 3 stars for the food and service, but losing 2 stars for the atmosphere.
