I normally never write reviews but the hostess here was so unprofessional it was insane. My friends and I sat at the bar which was okay for us, but she literally kept coming over too ask if we wanted a table but then wanted to let us know no tables were open and there would be a long wait for one. So im not sure why she was even asking us in the first place? When a spot finally opened up she asked us if we were gonna order another drink because she needed that table even though a couple tables and bar spots were empty, and we were finishing up the drinks we ordered from the bar. She then came over like two minutes later after we said we needed time to look at the menu and asked us if our tab was closed in such a rude manner so we clarified we would look at the menu to add to our order, and if we did not want anything we would just leave. It was actually just so unenjoyable after the third or fourth interaction with her, we ended up leaving and not ordering anymore drinks and there wasn’t even anyone waiting for the table

Really liked the atmosphere here. Katana Kitten is really popular in the area: the cocktail menu is inspired although not especially disruptive. August provided good recommendations (I tried the Meguroni #2 and the Scotch Ginger & Apple highball). Decorations are Tokyo-themed, music is good but not too loud, definitely a good one to try when in NYC.
