I’ve been going to kazuza since 2013 and it’s always been my go-to spot in Manhattan. I’ve seen it improve over the years. It’s a comfortable space with good hookah and a wide variety of drinks. The vibes are chill and sometimes they’ve got entertainment on weekend evenings.I can’t vouch for their food because there are so many great food options nearby that I eat prior and then hop over to kazuza.Overall, always a good time here. The waiter during my most recent visit on 02/18 was an absolute gem and so friendly (tall guy behind the bar).

This place is a scam! There are multiple reviews on here complaining about this place overcharging. They billed me 31 dollars for a 15 dollar martini and a 4 dollar water bottle. They did not provide a recipe. BELIEVE THE REVIEWS and avoid this place!

I come here once or twice a year with a dear friend. Never really disappoints, it's a relaxing place with finger foods, great drinks and ofcourse hookah. It had been 2 years this time and for some reason I found the hookah to be different, it wasn't as smooth as before, I could feel the coal burn quickly/cheap and had to keep asking for refill or adjustments which wasn't the case before. I'll definitely go and try again cause the place is good but it's a hookah lounge and unlike uptown fake hookah places this one I expect to always be superb.

I am giving two stars for the food. I am Sephardic so I have been eating this kind of Cuisine my entire life . This was passable but not exceptional . The place is unique as far as decor , but the service was practically non-existent . I had to get up and get my own napkins , and the server only checked on us once . I had to several times ask the only employee I saw , who was our server to change the music which was vulgar gangster rap, where every other lyric was an F word . It was completely inappropriate and did not fit with theme of the restaurant , or complement the experience . We sat in a booth which was interesting , but my companion who is a very tall girl , had trouble being comfortable because of her long legs . Everything was okay until the bill came . Just for the record I have used restaurant.com since 2016 . Why is this relevant ? Two reasons . First we had gone to a movie theater not far away and I looked on restaurant.com for mediterranean places nearby and this came up . It was the main reason I selected it . I gave the restaurant.com coupon to the server at the beginning of the meal , and a told him I knew to tip the full amount. When the bill came, no discount was applied. I had a $25 coupon for that restaurant. I'm writing this the next day and it's still showing in my restaurant.com account As unused. When I brought this to the server's attention he gave me some bullshit story about how the bill usually included taxes and gratuity and they took that off as the $25 . As I said I've been using restaurant.com since 2016 and I know that's not how it works . Nowhere on the bill was a line item discount for $25. He even printed a phony Bill and showed it to me that was $93 rather than the $75 bill that I had been presented . We went back and forth for a little bit but he would not budge . Not wanting to make this scene in front of my date I just paid it . And when I did he told me my credit card was declined , despite the fact that I had over 1,400 in the account . The first time it was a pin-based debit transaction , when I showed him that there was money in the account on my phone , he charged me again , this time with a signature-based credit card transaction . This time the charge went through . I'm not sure, but I think I've been scammed . Just to be on the safe side I changed my PIN number , and I'm going to call the bank later today and request a new credit card . I will never go back here again . Up to that point we had been having a fabulous evening , and I didn't want to let this ruin it . But this was a horrendous experience at the very end . I have contacted restaurant.com and advise them to remove them from the platform .

This place is absolutely incredible ! ! I’ve been going here for years and they never let me down ! ! We arrived at around 1:30AM , stayed until closing and had a blast ! ! The music is great , the lights are fun , and the seating is very cozy ! ! I love all the drink options , happy hour is from 4pm to 7pm which is amazing and the food is delicious ! ! I always get the tuna avocado panini ^_^ ! ! The hookah is great and the workers are super attentive and make you feel special ^_^ ! ! The owner and all the staff are so kind and sweet , just so very welcoming that we never want to leave ! ! I will always recommend Kazuza , I just really love it here <3
