Absolutely top notch service and food. The goat kebab, lamb chops and curried shrimp were all exceptional and flavorful. The butter chicken was great as well. Definitely try both the curry paratha and garlic naan. Good selection on drinks as well.

We had an 8:00 PM reservation, which apparently meant âstand around and reflect on your life choices until 8:20.â No table, no updates, no apologiesâjust vibes. After 20 minutes of waiting while actively starving, we figured weâd at least grab some appetizers at the bar. Rookie mistake.
The bar attendantâwho gave strong âIâm either the manager or deeply enjoying this power tripâ energyâflatly refused to serve us food because we might âcrowd the barâ for guests who were already seated. The interaction was needlessly rude, dismissive, and impressively inhospitable for an upscale restaurant that should understand how reservations and hunger work.
So we did what any rational person would do: we left. Walked next door to the sushi spot, got seated immediately as walk-ins, and enjoyed 10/10 service and food without being scolded for existing near furniture.
If youâre looking for fine dining with a side of attitude and zero accountability, this is your place. Otherwise, save yourself the timeâthereâs a sushi restaurant next door that actually wants customers.

Food was excellent. Everyone at our table was commenting on how the food was authentic but also stood out like home cooking. Combine this with an equally elevated yet fun atmosphere. Our waiter Andrew was very helpful with the menu, and his suggestions were perfect. He was very warm and made our experience memorable. 5/5

Stopped by for a quick dinner and left with mixed feelings.
The good:
- great decor and they really made the most of the space from a design stand point
- food comes out FAST despite it being a popular and busy spot
- service is friendly and the bus boys are very efficient
- the host Biryani is very good. Perfectly cooked with a healthy portion of juicy and tender goat meat.
- the falooda dessert is both theatrical and delicious with well executed flavors and all the components go together in harmony
The not so good:
- the eggplant was far too salty. Every one on table felt the salt was overkill. Otherwise flavors were decent
- the adhra green chili chicken dish while cooked well lacked dimension and was uninspiring
- the naan game here is weak...naan is thin, doesn't come out hot and is a greasy mess. The paratha is even worse, basically a naan adorned with some spices and doused in oil. We were surprised by how underwhelming they were and you have to get the basics down.
- there was only one server which is highly unusual and we found having to flag her multiple times because she was so busy. She's wonderful and very good but was swamped.
Music is loud but playlist is killer and the place has a nice ambiance. Ultimately fell short of our expectations which is too bad as it's in our neighborhood and we really wanted to like this spot.

Restaurantji Recommends
I made a reservation for dinner late on a Sunday evening. My reservation was for a table and the restaurant refused to seat me because they said they do not give tables for party of one. The restaurant was not busy at all and there were at least five empty tables for parties of two. Extremely disappointed they would not honor my reservation.
This place is phenomenal. Everything Ankit recommended was delicious. The Mushroom Galouti is smokey and delicious. Highly recommend saving room for dessert, I've never had anything like the Gulaab Jamun Pancake, it is delicious!

Oh my god, where can I start â Kebab Aur Sharab is hands down one of the most memorable dining experiences Iâve had in NYC.
I came here with my friends and from the moment you walk in, the vibe pulls you in with warm lighting, stylish interiors, and an energy that feels upscale yet welcoming. Itâs the kind of place where every detail feels intentional(even with the plating of the menu items!).
To start off it is vegetarian friendly and has amazing variety. The soya chaap to the paneer to gol gappe and to their vegetable kebab - everything was packed with amazing flavor.
I really loved the Dal Makhani and Paneer Butter Masala which went really well with the Garlic Butter Naan! We ordered 2 orders of the paneer and one order of the Dal which was more than enough for my friends and I!
I am a big fan of green chutney and I have to say the one here was top notch - it complemented everything!!!
What truly takes Kebab Aur Sharab to the next level, though, is the service. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the menu. Theyâre happy to make recommendations and make you feel taken care of without ever hovering.
Overall, Kebab Aur Sharab isnât just a restaurant â itâs an experience. Incredible food, amazing drinks, great vibes, and top-tier service all in one place. If youâre in NYC and donât check this spot out, youâre seriously missing out. Will definitely be coming back soon!

We went on Christmas Eve and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was mouthwateringârich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Each dish was presented so beautifully and artistically that it truly elevated the dining experience.
The staff were amazingâattentive, friendly, and welcomingâwhich made the evening even more special. This is hands down the best Indian food Iâve ever had. Weâre so glad we chose Kebab Aur Sharab and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!
