The food was delicious…more like beyond delicious! We were a party of 6 and got seated without much wait time. There was a bit of excitement when an adjacent table caught their bread basket on fire with the candle on the table. Highly recommend for date night or a group outing!

One of the best steaks I've had. The whole experience is a class act from start to finish. A proper NY steakhouse, brimming with character and excellent food and drinks. Thoroughly recommend.

First of all, speaking of taste, the steak itself is quite delicious. The dry aging was done well, and the sirloin part was very soft and had a good texture.
The signature Mutton Chop fell short of expectations. It's hard to expect RAM from Merton. Compared to what I ate in countries famous for lamb, it was so-so and greasy.
Everyone from the servers to the service helpers were friendly and sensible.
However, the host, which was my first impression of the restaurant, was very rude and unfriendly. Even a restaurant manager or restaurant owner cannot understand the language and gestures. The hostesses I work with are also similar.
If you want a beef steak when you go to New York, this restaurant is one of the candidates.

Keens Steakhouse continues to amaze us! On this visit, we enjoyed the T-bone, lamb chops, and the Chateaubriand—all cooked to absolute perfection. The flavors were exceptional, and the service was as warm and attentive as always.
It’s always a treat to dine at Keens, and it has truly become a family favorite. Highly recommend for an unforgettable dining experience!

Landry’s better NOT screw this place up like the rest of its steakhouse portfolio!

My first time eating at this venerable institution, first opened in the 1860s. It was very busy despite being a rainy Thursday night in November. The butter lettuce salad, lobster bisque and warm rolls with butter were delicious made for a perfect light supper. I highly recommend this place, where Abe Lincoln used to eat!

This place is overrated. My steak was completely dry and chewy. I ordered medium rare but my strip came out well to medium.

Tremendous! That’s the only way to describe the Mutton Chop. The Legendary Mutton Chop at Keens Steakhouse should be enjoyed at least once in a lifetime.

I was celebrating my 63 with my daughter, her treat. The steak I ate was scrumptious, the green beans, well let's just say the entire meal. I would definitely refer friends to this place. I will be going back again for seconds of the steak.
Wheelchair accessibility: If small chair probably, but not entirely sure. Best bet call and ask.

We were appreciative walk-ins after mid-afternoon theater.
This was our 3rd or 4th time at Keens.
What we ate (shared): 1. fresh celery, carrots etc. with a cheese dip (more restaurants should do this) 2. Crab cakes (effectively, just crabmeat, and fine) 3. Mutton chop and baked potato 4 . Hot Fudge sundae.
With a bottle of good Cotes du Rhone Villages which was very well priced.
Comments: The food is unfussy, and of excellent quality. The wine list is full of NYC restaurant bargains in all price ranges.
Only negative comment: the server plopped the bill on our table immediately after we finished dessert. Perhaps this was part of what he is instructed to do, but it was a relatively graceless
finish to a great meal.

A historic restaurant in mid town. Known for steaks. Delicious as always. Expensive. So great for a special dinner. Always busy and tables tightly packed together. Great internal photos and pipes.
