Didn't have food but what I needed was beer, football and billiards, and bathrooms...in that order! I got it all here! Great dive bar, nice neighborhood feel. Great staff!

New to East Village, decided to check out the Bills Bar, showed up at the two minute warning, by 1:10 on the clock I was singled out as new and was rudely told "you need to order something", I'll go elsewhere if that's the attitude, I was legitimately just getting my bearings. In the countless bars I've been to, I've never been pressured like that, let alone with in the first five minutes of arriving. I understand it's a business, even on nights I don't drink I'll order sodas or lemonades etc., but give customers a chance to settle in, I was going to check out the offerings at half time but now I'll go elsewhere.

Bar service was fine so not the other workers or servers fault but the guy that only sat at the bar in charge of the music should be fired. He verbally insulted multiple people throughout the night. It’s unfortunate that one poorly functioning worker makes an entire bar experience bad. Truly the least important/competent person on a power trip.

In area, did a quick Google search and they came up.... so I went for lunch not knowing this pub does not serve any food...... My mistake but it was not clear online -- So, for others -- NO FOOD GUYS ! HAHA Beer was ice cold from tap and I enjoyed it but honestly won't come back due to no food served (especially during lunch)

The guys were awesome and it’s definitely your local pub. Met some people there who go every weekend to play pool and darts, and love it. However, you must know, it is not a place to go with a bougie or pretentious person.
