I would come back here just bc the barista was the sweetest person. She went out of her way to suggest options and was consistently just a breath of freah air in our dingy NYC. I wish her all the success :) Coffee shop was tucked away and perfect for finishing up work, coming in from Penn Station and heading to the next thing.
Lovely space! I have been here twice. It reminds me of the little coffee shops that are wholesome, small but very high quality in Rome, Italy. Last time I was here first, I bought an iced matcha and it was excellent. Well made. And I received a compliment on my skirt and shoes too which was nice. Second time I came, this morning, I got a fig bar and it’s great. Reminds me of those Spanish fig/date cakes with almonds and such. Very moist, nutty flavor and fruity. Perfect balance....
This coffee shop is definitely a treasure! Grant the barista was excellent, he made the coffee experience even better with his friendliness and the great brewing techniques. The environment is great for work, especially because there are comfortable chairs where one can work with their laptop and still feel comfortable.
