Mmm, so good. We were staying at the nearby Park Central Hotel and looking for a decent restaurant within a quick walk. This one cropped up with good reviews, so we figured we'd try it. Best meal of our week-long NYC trip! I got the Curry Ramen, which was fantastic, with perfectly crispy pork katsu and nicely springy ramen noodles. My wife and daughter also enjoyed their selections. I think one was the Kin Ramen (which I also got to finish, since it was too big for my daughter -- the chashu pork was excellent!The place has a hip and cozy atmosphere. Service is friendly and quick. An excellent place to satisfy your ramen craving!

Authentic ramen in midtown! It’s a bit sunken from the street level and it’s bustling. We were lucky to walk in but came late after 8. Service was quick. We got the jungle salad that was really nice flavour and had crispy tofu in it. Really liked this salad. Cheesy corn was a hit with my kids and nice. Ramen was very good and not too salty like some ramens can be. Would definitely recommend and return.

The ramen is nothing out of this world, the waitress is on top of you all the time which is a bit annoying, in my opinion it is to serve you quickly, also, when it comes to giving them the percentage tip they force you to put 18% At least they don't give you a choice.

Kin Ramen is by far the best thing to happen to the New York City ramen scene -- at least insofaras I've been able to so far discover -- in years over years. I cannot recommend them highly enough.Upon descending the stairs, you're transported into another world entirely. While many ramen shops evoke high-end dining, others evoke low-end street stalls, Kin Ramen heads straight toward youthful metropolitan popular culture. Japanese city pop is playing; the atmosphere is upbeat and jovial, and the drink menu is written as a full-on manga.Drinks are phenomenal and very well executed; you'll never find any cocktails like this anywhere else, and all the ones I've had have been truly excellent and masterfully crafted.And finally, the ramen itself. Words cannot describe how absolutely exquisite these broths and noodles are. They have several broths and varieties, including pork and seafood tonkotsu, and various takes on chicken or vegan broths (tare include shoyu, shio, miso, and curry). More than one type of noodle as well -- from thin and perfectly al dente to thick and perfectly chewy.Kin Ramen is truly a world-class culinary and experiential gem -- even if you've never tried ramen before, I can't recommend them highly enough.
