My granddaughter Sienna told me about this restaurant. The food price is affordable and delicious, I can actually buy 2 or 3 dishes This is my go to spot if I can give 10 stars I would. So happy that there is still a restaurant that is not price gouging. May God bless this establishment.

I’ve been coming here for a while, but this isn’t the first time the jerk chicken has been disappointing. Lately it’s been burnt, hard, and overly salty nothing like how it used to be. It’s frustrating because I used to enjoy it, but the quality has clearly gone downhill. The prices might still be decent and the service is usually fine, but that doesn’t make up for consistently bad food. I won’t be coming back anymore.

The food was disgusting. Not authentic Jamaican food more like Spanish. So disappointing.

I don't normally place a negative review but when warranted I will. An order was placed using GrubHub for a buy 1 get 1 free meal. when meal arrived at house only 1 meal was rec'd. My daughter immediately called the restaurant and let them know about the mishap, but then I took the call. A Mr. King Barka (this was the name he gave when I asked for his name) answered quickly and seemed to be helpful but wouldn't take down my name or any information about the order. We were told to call him the next day and he would relay the message to staff in restaurant and everything would be easily corrected. Needless to say we got the almighty run around. 1st he never answered the phone when we called about 5 times. Then I sent my daughter to the restaurant to see if he'd left a note with them as he'd expected us to return to pickup the food. These women then played in my daughter's face saying that she did not order from that location when the receipt clearly showed that address. They wouldn't allow her to talk as I was on the phone listening. They kept saying it's not this location, it's the one on 145 street. I didn't even know there was another location. Also when we did speak to King Barka the previous night, he said it was at that location on 135th street because he asked me how far away I was so that we could pick it up that same night. We weren't able to do so, hence the arrangements for the next day. Customer service is not the PRETENSE of solving a problem. It's actually meeting a customer half way and doing what's necessary to right the wrong( as they're the one's who left out the 2nd order). Disappointed with the deception and treatment at this disgraceful location!

Before you order from this place, ask yourself if the worst service in the city is a worthy trade off for food. the food is great. The service is genuinely horrible.

You can end up waiting on line for an hour when there are only a few people ahead of you. How is that even possible? I have never seen restaurant staff work more inefficiently than here. I would say that 50% of the time I've ordered from this place they end up canceling the order, and other times the wait is 90 minutes. It's maybe the worst-run business in the neighborhood.

Last time I was there I was on line for 20 minutes. There were literally only 3 people ahead of me. How it takes 20 minutes for 3 people is beyond comprehension.

Grea Jamaican takeout spot with wonderful dishes. Stewed chicken always a hit. Jerk, curry chicken or oxtails also favorites. Sometimes a bit of a line outside or need to wait 20min for another batch of items.

This is my first time here. Is so true what they say. The food and the amount they give. I ordered a large oxtail, a large curry goat, a large order of curry chicken wow tasteful and a beef patty. Now they have a customer for life. I don’t have to go nowhere else but this spot yes is a line but let me tell you it’s worth it just be patient. She will come out. Take your order and I’m eating right now. I’m eating jerk chicken curry goat oxtail this place is a 5 Star a 5 Star matter of fact, beyond the five stars triple diamond 💎 💎 💎I have write again. While eating tasting the ingredients like an explosion driving my tastebuds crazy. They need to open one or two three restaurants in the Dykeman area 200 street. And the portion just want thank God for this lovely cozy place. And for the workers and Thier loving smile. I feel the family present there. And the peace of the people waiting in line because of the food. The line is the worth. Thank you staffs and the cooks. This is a phenomenal. Restaurant. Thank you thank you and thank YOU!!!.
