Respectfully this is not real Jamaican food to be honest it’s Nigerian food. The food is not really good meaning they use cheap hormonal chicken, cheap beef and vegetables and the seasoning is not on point. Go to king barka on 145 street they better.

In my opinion, I dont like their food, I had oxtail peas and rice. I'm told their food is very good. They did have a line with people waiting. It's a very small place. Order your food and go.

If your looking for somethings super tasty and affordable this is where you need to be! Authentic Jamaican food, just make sure you have time to wait in line (because there will be one)! Best advice to you is to bring cash just incase the card machine isnt working (but they do have a ATM)

I can't believe my people in Harlem is eating this trash. Everytime I pass here late at night there's a line. I thought it must be good. I had shrimp rasta pasta, it was made with carnation milk, no cheese, no heavy cream, disgusting. My friend had Stew peas and rice, the Peas were hard and the rice was mushy. We both threw our meals in the trash.

Very underwhelming spot, was looking forward to seeing what the hype was about.. one being the prices but sadly pirces seem like it went up.Oxtail - Medium Size was $19+tax!! And it did not taste flavorful at all, very fatty pieces with a ton of gravy like other reviews mention.Jerk chicken seasoning was great. All the other sides were okay, nothing to rave about. Mac and cheese was cold, lady only put it out to warm up once we ordered so guess a lot of ppl weren’t going for it.THEY DO TAKE CREDIT CARDS.Bit of a wait with line and they are veryyy slow at register so prepare.Would not recommend, better off with a chop cheese from the deli..

The food is pretty good with phenomenal prices. They only thing I didn't like was that there was nowhere to sit down so you had to get it to-go. So if you aren't nearby, you either have to walk to the park that's fairly close or get back on public transportation to get back to your spot. There service was pretty good for Jamaican spot! I've come here maybe 3-5 times in their chicken curry and jerk. Chicken over rice and peas is pretty good.

I cannot believe it. I actually went to this Jamaican spot in Harlem, and it was service with a smile. I absolutely loved the smiling welcome that I received. The food was delicious. My plate was packed to the hilt, and wow it was worth every penny. Do not sleep on this spot, the young lady told me that it's been open for 10 years. I must've been sleeping for 10 years don't YOU do that.
