This place might’ve serve the worse Caribbean food I’ve ever tasted, the curry goat was flavorless and full of fat(pause) and bones, the rice and peas taste burnt, the cabbage was also flavorless! I should’ve known what I was getting myself into once I tasted the Irish Moss! Very disappointed!

The level of professionalism is quite lacking; the employee treats the situation as if it were a joke, joking around with the food and making faces. They don't know how to interact appropriately with customers and seem to expect that we should shout to place our orders. I sat there and waited while two people cut in front of me, and they appeared completely unconcerned.

I've been eating here since they opened. I was working in the area. The food is good the atmosphere was nice. The servers were friendly. Then I worked in another area for a month . The first day back I ran for some good food. I have to say I've never met a nastier server than that new one with the big fake eyelashes. My order was simple. Curry chicken,rice, and peas no cabbage. Same order last 5 years First ms new girl started with why didn't I order with the other people who had similar orders although she didn't ask me for my order. During the course of talking down to me, she forgot my order and asked if I wanted cabbage. I said no cabbage. Then she asked me if I wanted white rice. I said no. Then she made someone else's order and came back to me about the cabbage. At that point, I said I'm not understanding all the hostility I just asked for curry chicken and rice and peas. She had a big attitude. Then she asked me cash or card. The food was $6 and I i only had a $20. Do you know she read me the Riot Act because I didn't have a dollar bill. Threw my change at the window and practically flung my food in the window also. I went back to work with a leaky bag of food. I'm done. I definitely won't be back. Too much attitude over nothing.

Its either a hit or a miss depending on the day. I personally don't like these ppls mannerism or the lack thereof. They aren't warm, they are welcoming and this is most Jamaican restaurants. I usually get food from these establishments if it's my last resort and im over my other options and i usually get a non traditional Jamaican dish like their salmon (it's good) or honey chicken. Im not a fan of jerk/curry chicken or goat. I recommend their honey salmon but im good...I don't need that energy over my food honestly

Been going to this restaurant for 3 years now and I hate to say this but this is my last time going to this restaurant the service was horrible and the portion of the food was horrible also I told the girl I don’t want my side/yams to be in the same plate cause of the juice off the yams I told the girl to put the yams in a folded paper she said no she can’t do that the food was full of gravy have to throw it away after the journey from queens I’m so disappointed.

I usually get jerk chicken, so I decided to get something else. The honey chicken I got was at least 2 days old. It was extremely tough and just tasted old. I'm highly disappointed. The rasta pasta is usually on point. This time, it's trash. Spent almost $18 on trash food. I won't continue to eat food from an establishment serving days old food. Customer lost.

I ordered on Uber eats spent 50 bucks for trash food they gave me dry chicken that can break your teeth and also they didn't give me jerk chicken they gave me spicy sauce chicken very spicy I did not order this never again will I spend money here id rather go anywhere else to many bad reviews this place scams you on uber eats false advertisements not good as it looks in pictures and you will definitely not get what you ordered or even the portion you think dont believe the hype don't order here they give a bad name for jamican restaurants they are some cheap people.

The food is absolutely delicious the curry goat is my favorite it's so tender and succulent and melt in my mouth it's so delicious cabbage juicy plenty of gravy and the manager I spoke up about the curry goat on time because it was mostly bones and I gave them five the first time I ordered but the second has it has been absolutely good yes I highly recommend it very clean they have a grade pending and I'm sure that they will receive an A.

As a Jamaican that grew up in the US stew peas and curry goat is my favorite Jamaican dishes. This location (only), on Frederick Douglass has THE BEST stew peas I have ever tasted in NYC so far PERIOD. I’ve ordered it a million times and it taste the same almost Everytime DELICIOUS!! Highly recommended. I’ve also tried the curry goat which is decent and the brown stew chicken which is pretty good. The prices are affordable and accessible for the community which I appreciate. WHOEVER IS THE STEW PEAS CHEF IN THE BACK I LOVE YOU frfr lol

It's two woman that serve food in a small store. Around 9-9:30pm The short dark skinned lady has a nasty attitude. It almost her clock out time so She do not listen when taking orders, which leads to repeating orders and long line to order. (One window, one customer at a time) Over charger new customers on special meal orders. They have $7 plates one meat two side w/ can soda. She mentioned at extra charge for changing the side that lead to the price of another plate on my receipt which I had to ask for after paying
