How does this have only 4* ???

Now, there’s different levels of CHeeTOS in NY. (Chinese Hood Take Out Spots) and it all starts at the staples. The combo Alexander Wangs, fried rice & soup lunch options- smash. This is top tier in any hood in the 5 boroughs. No Cap- Juanito.

Ask yourself, if that hits- what else is good ? They even have Dominican menu options, albeit small. It’s Chino Latino and they not even trying.

The Singapore curry- underrated. Them mugs was like crack, imo. Beef and broccoli- win. Egg rolls- hits.

The woman at the front is a MCC, master of Chinese ceremonies. Taking orders in the phone, frying up chicken, taking walk in orders, yelling in Chinese and Spanish at her coworkers all at the same time + probably operating on lack of sleep because she’s always here. Sometimes, I would just smoke outside and watch her work. She’s the Lebron James of front of the house MCC, anywhere.

I used to live around the corner from this spot, 6 year ago and for years- it was my go to. You don’t know what you have until you move out the hood and into a neighborhood with average to poor CHeeTOS. I miss her and the food here like a fat kid misses cake.

I really like how they make the pork fried rice and chicken. The fried rice resembles how 90's fried rice used to have and taste. The wings have a nice crispy texture and great taste. Since this is what I mostly order I can only speak for what I get. I am sure the rest of the menu is just tasty.

Love LOVE this place. I always have a hard time with Chinese takeout and this is my go to spot. They were closed I assume for reconstruction and every place I went to during the time didn’t feel as fresh or the same. Such an amazing spot and the staff is always so friendly :) <3

Didn’t expect much other than a classic greasy Chinese takeout spot. Good looks good but ngl something about it just tasted off. Got the Orange Chicken & Beef n Broccoli.

I’ve been ordering from King Garden for well over a decade. I usually get the fried tofu and broccoli with garlic sauce, fried chicken wings or General Tso Chicken. What strikes me every time is how fresh the vegetables are, tasty and clean tasting (and not gloppy) the sauces are and fresh and pure the tofu is. Also, I love their egg rolls! Not too greasy - crunchy and flavorful. They know me by name now and we catch up about life when I come by. Very nice owners with pride of ownership!Another thing - the orders are done fast and the delivery is always quick!

From the outside, the place looks like a dive, makes you hesitant to enter. But once inside, I placed my order for General Tso lunch special, egg rolls, pork lo mein and boneless ribs. Food was fresh and tasted delicious. Lady was polite and cordial from taking my order to serving my food, for take-out. Few weeks later, I placed the same order via phone for pick-up. Again, polite and cordial interaction, and again food was fresh and tasted great. I will continue coming to this Chinese take-out as a regular returning customer.

The food is okay but pretty watery and soggy. My biggest gripe is that the price was nearly double what was listed on the site that they have associated with their google page. The prices aren't outrageous or anything, but it's really shady to have prices that are double what you have listed on the site. It's also annoying that they make you pay after getting the food. Had I known the prices on the site weren't accurate, I would have knocked a few things off my order. Probably won't return because the food isn't on par with the prices and I know there are better options in the area at the same price point.

I normally get the fried green plantains with boneless chicken and they never disappoint. This restaurant has been open for more than 30+ years.

Try to call to order and the lady at the phone has worse customer service ever. I told her the update menu prices are wrong and she just hung up the phone.
