ok i usually don’t post reviews but something compelled me to write this. the place isn’t half-bad; the atmosphere is nice, the space is set up well, and the service is pretty good (they bring out the food to you if you’re dining in). however, i ordered the kimchi fried rice, and as a korean person, that was genuinely one of the worst kimchi fried rices i have ever tried. i like that they give a free snack with the food and the portion size is good for $20~ but i did not enjoy it. the rice was not cooked well (it was sticking to each other too much, not enjoyable to eat for me) and it frankly didn’t taste good (tasted like oil and ngl i left the restaurant smelling like kimchi and oil but eh whatever). i haven’t tried the other dishes but if the kimchi fried rice tastes like this idk if i would come back tbh. if anyone wants to eat here, feel free. but be warned, don’t get the kimchi fried rice ❌

Absolutely terrible service. Ordered online on Sunday and was told food would be ready at 1pm. Went there at 1:15pm and found that they hadn't even started working on my order yet even though everyone was idle in the kitchen. Had to wait another 15m for the food. What's the point of ordering online then? Ridiculous

We decided finally to try Koba a newer takeout place in the neighborhood serving Korean food. We ordered two lunchbox sets. On both, we got bulgogi and assorted veggie’s. I went in to order and waited to take it home. Will send pics of food next time. All was good.

KOBA Korean BBQ is delicious but their delivery process is horrendous. For the second time in a row I ordered lunch to be delivered and it was over an hour past the time they gave me for delivery.
The person who answered the phone kept telling me it would be 15 more minutes.
The lack of information and reliability is very frustrating and I don't think I would ever order from this place again.
I can't speak to their in-person dining, and the food does taste great but probably only go if you can dine in.

Their side kimchi is awesome too. Pretty decent good flavor will come back again for a quick fix.

I was impressed to be able to eat trendy Korean food in a hotel room at New York City. I serched korean food near Rockefeller Center and i found this place. I walked there and ordered for togo. There were kiosk to make order. I added pork belly to the seasoned rib grilled ssambap. The seasoned ribs were okay, but the pork belly was a bit hard and difficult to chew. The ssamjang was delicious and the vegetables were fresh, but it was disappointing that it contained rotten peppers. Overall it was good with reasonable price.
