I liked the ordering with kiosk option where you could view pictures and customize your orders easily. I chose the Koba bowl. The portion size shocked me! My bowl looked like a mountain. It was satisfying to have that much food and a variety of stuff in only one bowl. Both food and service were amazing! With any order it also comes with a Korean snack of your choice.

The owner is very friendly and it's great that students and teachers get a discount so they can eat delicious food at a reasonable price!! There are a lot of them?

OMG. Everything is so good .service and food. I can’t believe I could have this quality & generous quantity at this affordable price. As i’m a Korean, I did not expected any good taste regarding fast Korean food in NY when I first came in. But, shame on me. It was so good! Even kimchi was much much better than any other pricy Korean restaurants .i’m so glad I found out this restaurant. This place definitely became my go-to restraunt!I higley recommend eat Korean food here. No need to go Korean town in NYC ~

The managers and staff are so friendly and the decor is so welcoming. The meats are delicious and it comes with any selection of vegetables for a balanced meal. The portion sizes are on the larger side, so prepare an appetite. Highly recommend; Midtown is lucky to have Koba in the neighborhood.

Come on guys. Got my kimchi “fried” rice home and half of it was cold and half was steaming hot - clearly microwaved and pretty sure it had been frozen prior to being nuked. While it was a huge serving, an Asian restaurant freezing/microwaving rice is very poor form, how hard is it? Please sort it out coz $20 is a joke for what I just got. The guy at the counter was very welcoming, helpful and polite, but the kimchi “fried” rice was not good enough.

It was the most delicious and Korean restaurant I had in New York. I was very grateful to the owner for continuing to take care of me and provide good service. It's a shame I found out the day before I had to return home, but I really recommend it to anyone who plans to visit in the future.

Very nice staff- consistently. Portions are huge and the food is good. Price did increase, but I think they maybe didn’t have a choice- sometimes you have to make unpopular decisions to keep the business going. I still recommend trying it out.

UPDATE:Unfortunately, they seem to ignore my message although Albert P. asked me to send it to them for a refund & coupon. We were once impressed by their immediate reply & offer but it wasn't true.Extremely sad & disappointed once again with what they did to us.
