Koba is a total GEM in the neighborhood. The food tastes great, is reasonably priced, and perfectly portioned. The service here is second to none. Will be coming back here regularly :)

I work in the area and was roaming around looking for a unique and fun place to grab lunch. I had passed Koba a few times and decided to give it a try. This is a "fast food" either grab and go or dine in Korean BBQ joint. I love the concept but I think it's way over priced. Most workers are not trying to spend $18-25 on lunch. They are looking for the most delicious and best deal. There are many options in this area, I feel this is the most expensive and not the most delicious. Upon entering, I was greeted by a friendly worker who helped me with the menu. I ordered the beef fried rice. I had to ask 2 times if it was coming. It took over 30 minutes. Customers who had entered after me received their food fl before me. I ordered the fried rice because l felt it would be the quickest. It was extremely salty. Large portion so I was able to take home Tommy husband who ate it for another meal. I would give this place another try, but certainly not running back, especially not for a $20 lunch

Food was very bad. The rice was overcooked and soggy would not recommend. Everything was so bland and oily. It's amazing it had a different color with the lack of flavor

Great experience! Came here to try their items and they were generously giving out a tray with variety of traditional Korean food like bulgogi, Kim chi, spicy pork with rice to try for free with small little sweet rice cakes. It was so delicious with generous portions, the staff were very friendly and made sure everyone felt welcomed & taken care of!

Servers are super nice. It is self serve. The food they give is in large portions and is really good. Came here to catch up with a friend. It wasn't too loud, and is a great place to eat and talk to friends.

Enjoyed their wonderful food and service on 10th February 2024. Staff is very friendly and food is delicious. The proportions are generous too.

The food at KOBA is delicious, and the service is amicable; although the reason for my 3 star review is based on carelessness. The young lady at the register handled money with gloves and did not remove them as she proceeded to grab the tray to serve food in it. One person should charge while the other serves food, Why wear gloves if you're going to touch money and not change them?I hope the owner would be aware of this and change the way employees handle money and food.

I had a free lunch today at Koba’s Lunar New Year celebration and it was amazing! The long lines moved quick, the portions were extremely generous, and all the staff members were so kind. I sat down to enjoy my meal and a staff member even poured myself and others a glass of water. It was more take-out style dining, so that service wasn’t expected for me but it was so kind!I had never heard of this place before prior to their event but I will definitely return! :)

Great food and service! Second time here and excellent. Prices are tax inclusive so also a good deal (as well discounts for teachers!). Will make it a regular!

1 star for the bait and switch price increases. How you can justify a $5 price increase after opening only a few months ago is absurd. $20 for a bowl is not price competitive with other area options for lunch. It became a popular option at my midtown office but everyone has written it off since the huge price increase. The food is decent and the portions are large, almost too big in my opinion. Maybe offer a smaller sized portion at a lower price point.

WOW! What a fantastic Korean restaurant at a new location!!! I'm a huge fan of the original Koba location and I was in the area yesterday so I stopped by for dinner at the Park Ave location (31st & Park Ave, entrance is on 31st street). I was extremely pleased with top quality, healthy and delicious food, very attentive and friendly service and very clean and spacious layout. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in trying delicious, healthy Korean food. Their price is unbeatable in comparison to any other restaurants in the city for the quality food and service you get.

Very friendly and pleasant welcome and service. The staff are lovely and take excellent care of their customers. The food is excellent (especially the homemade kimchi!) and the service is fast. It's really not expensive for the quality and quantity you get. It's also very clean.

Best food ever! This place is a staple when I want something healthier but still super flavorful. I've had both a bibimbap and a bowl with sweet potato noodles, and they were delicious! The garlic chicken is 10/10!
