May not have ordered the right dish because I thought the chicken breast rice set was decent but a bit too basic to enjoy. Liked the concept of a no frills Korean canteen in the back of a bodega but perhaps I’ll try the kimbap next time.

I am disappointing at the quality of food. The Korean food is made in that back by one man while the rest of the store sells sandwiches and salads. Service is slow and not an enjoyable place to sit and eat. The quality of Korean food was poor. I ordered Blugogi rice , spicy avocado sushi and a kimpop and they tasted terrible. Rice was stale and the meat was difficult to eat. I came on a Sunday, so maybe it’s leftover food from the week. The reviews here are misleading. 4.4 is way too high.

It’s not a place to dine in, but food was good. I went there for lunch. There was no line and it took them 7 minutes to prepare my order to go.I ordered kimpab with tuna and avocado, it was tasty. Total price was around $15 which is a bit more than I expected but it was enough food for lunch.

YUMS!!! We stopped by today and we’re very happy with our meal. She makes everything fresh when you order. The portion for the price was perfect we got lots of food. This is definitely a hidden gem inside this deli. There’s also sitting and lots of other options. The owner was also very kind :) give her a try for authentic Korean food!!

The pork dish is a 5 but the chicken is a 3. They are very generous with meat portions, but the chicken was a bit dry & not seasoned very well.Service is quick and very friendly.Note, I substituted salad for rice.

This is by far my favorite Korean take out place it’s truly a hidden gem. Their kimchi fried rice is really flavorful and especially when you add spam to it. Their budaejigae is also excellent and very flavorful. Yesterday I just tried their bibimbap and it is so fresh and flavorful, they add seaweed which makes it extra tasty and are even tho it full enough to put your bibimbap in a larger container with rice separated so it’s easier to stir and keep the ingredients fresher. Their kimbap is also tasty too. Absolutely recommend this place!!!The Korean section of this is located inside their normal deli in the back.
