Love the chai and samosas here. The chaat is super yummy too if you’re hungrier. And in the warmer months they do this genius oat chai soft serve. YUM! This location is great and V is a great employee who got our order out at lightning speed ✨

After receiving many online marketing ads, I had to stop by while I was in New York. The shop had plenty of seating and was clean. The service was excellent. I ordered a chai tea with oat milk. I am usually used to the coffee shop chai which has lots of sugar and tastes different. My chai tea here was surprisingly very good and lived up to the hype. It was not too sweet and you could taste the blend of spices well. Favorite chai tea so far. I ordered a bag when I got home.

I liked this location--this place has been on my list since someone gifted me their chai blend a few years ago. Their fresh brewed chai is really good and very close to what you'd get in India. I love that they have an oatmilk option, as it doesn't compromise on flavour or creaminess at all. I accompanied mine with a breakfast paratha and it was the perfect hot breakfast to start out a day of exploring chilly NYC! We purchased two more bags of their chai to take back home to Canada. The bathroom was also very clean! The only thing I would warn is that the chai is very strong. I had my cup at around 11am but ended up not being able to fall sleep until 5 in the morning! Caffeinate-sensitive and/or insomniac buyers, beware!

This spot has been on my list for months because of all the raving reviews. I ordered the $6 12 oz oat milk masala chai and it was okay. Wish i ordered one of the syrups as people seem to enjoy that a lot. The service was fast - drink was out before I even finished paying. Customer service was okay and the location itself is quite small and can be tight but does have a counter inside for you to drink it. If you enjoy chai with a mild flavor, you may enjoy it more than I. For those, you like a lot of flavor in drinks, I'd recommend ordering something else or adding a syrup if you're looking for something with a ton of flavor.

I use 4 teaspoons of the chai in the formula. 3 is not enough for my taste. The shipping charge is too much. I won't order again. Sorry.

It's 2024. By now, the dining scene in New York City is flooded with great restaurants, baristas, chefs, cooks, bartenders and service staff. To bring the game one notch higher, Kolkata Chai Co has created a pairing that has absolutely no competition yet. House vegan samosas $4.36 and kesar chai $8 featuring mint sauce, chutney and saffron collectively. Let me tell you something. 'Chai' will beat coffee as America's power fluid if it's only served by KCC across the nation. Enjoy!

Wanted to try this place after the social media influence. Ordered masala chai which was good. From food only samosa and samosa chaat were available at 4pm. We got samosa chaat but the samosas were cold (trust me no one wants to eat a cold samosa ever!). There is no seating at all. I suggest get tea and hot snacks at other better places in town.

I used to walk out of my way to get to the 3rd St location of Kolkata Chai. Now this second location is a gift. Slow brewed masala chai. The amazing news? They have a non dairy oat milk version for those who can’t manage regular milk. That in itself deserves five stars. Now take a sip, and you’ll walk out of your way, too.Dietary restrictions: Non dairy chai made with oat milk is amazing.
