I came here for just a quick pick-me-up and it was good. A chain from Hawaii, this coffee shop has a lot of fun latte drinks and tropical/Hawaiian inspired coffees. I just got an iced americano and it was great.

This coffee shop brought me back to Hawai’i. Michael was amazing and answered all the questions I had about the different roasts. I was stuck between the Kona reserve or the Peabody. I ordered an iced latte with the peaberry beans. Didn’t need any sugar or flavors and it was delicious! You can taste all the notes. Can’t wait to go back and try the other roasts. Thank you Michael!

Love Kona! I usually go to their Chelsea location for some laptop work and a black hot drip, but I was in the area and noticed they have a location here too so I popped in.
Seb, the barista and absolute legend, suggested an iced Hawaiian Latte that was, in fact, fire! Sooooo good! Probably my new go-to drink there, at least in the summer.
The space is cozy, the service is excellent, the coffee is good, and the playlist (in all their location) is awesome, too! Honestly, just ticks all boxes! ✅ ✅ ✅ ✅
Well done guys! See you soon :)

Seems like a nice place, my boss insisted I walk here to get her coffee. I waited like ten minutes and was given an iced coconut matcha. I informed the barista I never asked for it to be iced and they gave me a dirty look, then, instead of remaking it, dumped the (now cold) matcha into a hot water cup and poured what I guess was freshly steamed oat milk in. This ruined both the taste and the temperature.
I would have waited an extra ten minutes to have my drink prepared correctly without a problem. Especially given how far I had to walk for it in the first place.

fantastic hawaiian coffee in east village. the beans are super lightly roasted but packed with flavor. great study spot too. if you like strong coffee this spot might not be fore you but the drip coffee speaks to the light and medium coffee drinkers with its complex and fruity flavor profile.

They don't pay their staff. They used my company, Baristas On Tap, for freelance baristas and never paid! It's been over a year of chasing for payment and we still haven't seen a cent from Kona despite working two shifts there.
