Food was ok. Nothing memorable when compared to other foods across asia. Value is definitely pretty bad. Even after spending $40+ I was still hungry and ate a slice of pizza after.

Good! Wish I tried more things and also wish I ate pork and could try more things. Just got the Nasi Lemak. Super good, a little dry/undercooked rice but I know nothing about Malaysian cuisine so maybe that’s just how it is! Loved it otherwise and would comeback!

Loved our coffee - we tried the iced Salted Bek-Kopi and Hor KaShai as well as the "Kopitiam Classics" set menu. Good value for money and was a great selection

Honestly one of my favorite spots, with friends or on your own. The food and coffee are so good and feels like home.
Their crispy mushrooms has got to be the national dish
Although I was expecting the boiled version of the wontons, it was still a pretty good "Tok Tok Mee". Kopitiam has always been one of my go to place whenever I am craving for some Malaysian eats.

Passing by and have always wanted to try it. Took it home to Brooklyn, but the char kway teow was still warm and delicious. Decent char and really flavorful. Also got some ondeh ondeh that didn't make it home...honeycomb cake was also delicious. I didn't love the morning glory sticky rice, but I chalk it up to preference. Really tasty and cool and casual atmosphere.

Cozy Malay place to eat and get traditional Malaysian coffe (kopi). Definitely worth it and a great spot for a date or a quick bite to eat. Seems very youthful snd student friendly
The wood ear mushrooms changed my life

Nice array of savory and sweet Malaysian dishes to try. Highly recommend going with a few people to do a tapas style spread. The store is a bit small so seating at peak times can be a challenge. The pastries in the front counter display are very good
We recently visited Kopitiam and tried their Kopitiam Classics Set Menu for $27, and it was a fantastic experience! The set includes nasi lemak, kaya butter toast, Malaysian-style half-boiled eggs, and a choice of drink (we opted for the black coffee).
The food was delicious, and the highlight for us was definitely the Malaysian-style half-boiled eggs—perfectly soft and flavorful. The kaya butter toast was also a standout, with just the right balance of sweetness and creaminess. The nasi lemak was hearty and satisfying, rounding out the meal. As for the coffee, it was rich and bold, a great complement to the food.
Overall, the Kopitiam Classics Set Menu is a great value for a well-rounded and authentic Malaysian experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a taste of traditional Malaysian flavors!

I went to Kopitiam with a friend in a Friday evening and we both enjoyed the food. We tried the cold sesame noodles and the mushroom coconut rice. Flavorful!!!
I don’t usually have Malesian food so this was a great discovery!

The portions are so small and the price charged is outrageous for the fast food type service provided. There are tons of better quality restaurants that serve the same cuisine.
