Been coming here since I grew up in the neighborhood. The large slice is definitely abnormally large but not very special in flavor / texture and I usually end up grabbing a slice from Famiglia across the street which I’d say is basically an average NY pizza spot but has better flavor

It's right on Broadway so the energy and atmosphere is automatic. The fact that they have a large indoor and outdoor seating arrangement is great. You can enjoy your super sized pizza on the spot without feeling elbow to elbow with other patrons. The pizza sauce is great. Large amounts of cheese as well. Didn't love the sagginess though. At the end of the slice wasn't necessary sure that the cheese was real either.

There's nothing like Koronet 🍕 it's a staple in the neighborhood. My siblings use to bring me a slice and wgen I was able to travel on my own it became my afterschool and weekend spot. It's nostalgic going in each time. The only thing changed is the various toppings that can pile up. As you get older you appreciate more authentic taste in a sauce and type of cheese. You know the difference of quality. With that said it's nice to look at and challenging yourself to the big slice is fun. In actuality the taste lost its pizzaz and its really doughy the extras just weigh it down and you can barely get through the chews. Tiring and expensive. Sometimes less is better. Service is great and on point pizzas always coming out fresh. Calzones are great also. The lines move along nicely. Try the new versions of pizza for yourself or stick to the classics. They changed the pepperoni👎

it's decent. it won't blow your mind. what i like is that they have a pizza loaded with a variety of veggies that doesn't feel horribly unhealthy. i'm a utility eater possibly over taste, even though that might sound insane on a review. so yes i came for the food groups: grains, dairy, veggies. any meal that has at least 3 food groups is good to me. i'm glad for that. it feels a little pricey at around $6 for a slice of that veggie pizza but it's not the end of the world. any meal with a lot of vegetables close to $5 is good.
