Californian here, so admittedly maybe not an expert on pizza. I stopped by this place on a whim after a visit to the Met and I still think about it. Got something pretty basic, maybe the Margherita, but it was very fresh with a thin crush.

This was a pretty good neighborhood pizza place but today the crust has gone way down hill. It was thick, hard and tasteless. So different we asked if the owners changed. We were told no but the quality has fallen.
The lightbulbs were out in several lights, bar stool seat missing, and they have a C rating now, which I didn’t see until I left or I wouldn’t have eaten there.
Too bad, Koronet. I won’t be returning.

Worst Pizza in New York? I abandoned my slice 1/3 of the way through it. Cheese is tasteless and rubbery, sauce without character, and dough simultaneously mealy and lacking flavor. AVOID

I had the jumbo slice and I will say it was mid. The cheese had no stretch, and there was very little sauce. The pizza didn’t have much taste. I will say it is a very large slice which would be nice if it tasted good. The other slices looked good though so maybe they’re better!

Andrea was the best and most helpful person imaginable. She helped me pick out the BEST pizzas and boxed them up so nicely. She had great recommendations that my entire family appreciated. We will be back soon because the food was delicious and Andrea was amazing!!

What can i say except this place is simply amazing! I have never raved about a pizza like this before or any other pizza restaurant. If i had... move over you are no longer the number one spot!!! The price is right, great workers and the food is so very fulfiling. Koronet Pizza you've gained a 5 ?'s trophy ? ? ? ? ? What I loved the most was the workers took the time to explain the options they had to offer and you can surely taste the love with every bite.. just the right amount of cheese, sauce... everything perfect! OOOH MY, guess what vegans? There's options for you too!!! Ask them they will tell you all about it. I had a regular slice which was so big... but then I looked over and saw a bigger size slice--- like what!!! Let me tell you, I ate the first slice and ordered another..I was thinking to myself I should have just got the jumbo instead; But I knew that I wouldn't have eaten it all. Besides, I didn't know how it taste. It was my first time there. So instead of ordering the jumbo, I watched the two young basketball players take a shot at it. They tried their best they really did ?. They had only went mid-way and gave up because they had "practice in a few" (Mmmhmm ?). I'm telling you that jumbo size is breakfast, lunch and dinner all in one. I suggest a regular size if you ate earlier and a jumbo if you need to stay full for the day or if you have a really big appetite. My next attempt, I'm trying them all... well not at once but once or twice a week. This place is great I'll be back soon... I think i just said that lol see, I can't stop expressing my thoughts about this place and thinking about the slice I ate. It was yesterday literally!! 6/4/24 CHANGED MY LIFE. I had the best sleep ever!! No more ordering pizza from other food chains. I'm going to have to travel here if the family wants pizza. Thank you for the great food and service. Mo!
