I had a really disappointing experience at this Krispy Kreme location today. I stopped by and asked if they had a box that holds three donuts because I didn’t need a larger quantity. They said yes, so I ordered a box of three donuts and paid $6.92.

Immediately after, the cashier grabbed a box with three glazed donuts as if that’s what I had asked for. When I clarified that I wanted to pick out my own three donuts from the display, she turned around and snickered to her coworker, saying, “She definitely said she wants three glazed.” That was not what I asked—I simply inquired if they had a box that holds three.

Instead of handling the situation professionally, they responded in a rude tone and told me that picking my own donuts would cost extra. The attitude was completely unnecessary, especially since they misheard me in the first place. On top of that, they kept me in line for five minutes just to figure out how to charge me an extra $0.50 or something —something that should’ve been a simple fix. Instead of just apologizing for their mistake and making it right, they dragged out the process over a few cents.

I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough that I feel like others should be aware. Do better.

Donuts were fresh and extremely good as always. I cannot say the same for the service. Very blunt and rude during rush hours.

This place deserves zero stars! The evening/night workers are some of the most unprofessional, rude, and downright nasty. I have ever had a positive encounter with them, and after the way, I was spoken to during my last visit, I plan on avoiding stall at all time; better off going to Dunkin’ Donuts, at least they treat you like a paying customer and do not talk down to or patronize you.

I have frequented this Krispy Kreme multiple times and had various encounters with the menial staff - they are not the friendliest, and have an air of just wanting to get you your food and getting you out of their hair. The last time I attempted to purchase food from this establishment, I was met with extremely rude managerial and employment staff, and even denied food that I had already paid for. I left with an extremely rancid taste in my mouth for the service here, and will no longer be coming to this or any other establishment in the future, if this is the kind of staff that they so happily employ and trust with the reputation of their brand. I am extremely displeased and repulsed by the managerial and staff behavior. If you really crave a Krispy Kreme donut and can’t get it locally, I would highly recommend taking the extra 10-15 minute walk to the one on 6th Ave - I haven’t been, but there’s no way the staff could be less friendly than the Penn Station branch.

This is a small store location that (obviously) gets the donuts delivered. You’ll still get that overall quality and even though this place can have a fast pace feeling for non New Yorkers, I still found the staff to be very polite and professional.

Now go get your fix!

Krispy Kreme - the donuts aren't made here, but they're still the delicious style. Staffers are brusque, though, not particularly friendly if you're browsing the window. Order to the side line and come back to the other side to pick up your orders. Reminds me of the soup guy from Seinfeld! (not so strict, but just a related memory).

Located on the "upper level" underneath Madison Square Garden, close to the circular waiting area about half way between 7th and 8th Avenues.

The cashier guy stares at customers like they owe him money. I don't think he has requested courtesy.

Krispy Kreme donuts are great. Went with a glaze and chocolate and both were outstanding. Also had a great cup of decaf.

Went there for free donuts. People were friendly and told us when to come back when the donuts were here. It was accurate and they were amazing

Shop refused to accept free dozen coupon although there was plenty at the front display. Workers would not give any reason or provide an availability date.

ordered two iced americanos and mini donuts. they received my order as iced americanos but they gave me cooled down black coffee in a plastic up. they poured down hot coffee into a plastic cup. so called manager came up to me and said “this coffee machine does not make americano. we cannot give you americano.” i kindly explained to them that espresso poured on top of water is americano. How could none of the workers not know how to make an americano? i insisted that they gave me a wrong coffee so they make another one. they couldn’t careless. never ask for americanos at this place because you’ll only face a nonsense.

The glazed is undoubtedly the most famous US donut! Lots of waiting for takeaway sales after 10 p.m.
