Ordered delivery and waited an hour, then called the place only to be told that my address was too far away and they refused to send a delivery person.A simple call to cancel my order would have been sufficient, but they were incredibly rude about this.

The food was just nasty like the fries were extra dry like it’s been there for hours. The chicken was so hard and dry couldn’t eat it. And the biscuit tastes stale and really hard to chew. Won’t go there again.

We're tourists walking around an area near our hotel and it sells pizza by the Alice which is exactly what we're looking at the time since we didn't want to buy a whole pizza. They reheat the food right at the time you ordered so the pizza comes out nice and crispy and hot. Unfortunately I ordered the spicy new Yorker and got the Buffalo chicken instead. Not sure how they got the two mixed up but my husband had placed the order while I went to the bathroom and when it came out, I thought he had ordered wrong so didn't send it back. Buffalo chicken was good but would have liked to try the spicy pepperoni and honey. We also got an order of garlic knots which were under cooked and kind of doughy. I would have preferred a lighter dough.There are plenty of seats and the place has pop music playing at a reasonable volume.

Chicken looks really good but it's horrible. Very salty and tastes like rotten smelly fish. It's like they used very old oil from frying fish and then used it to fry chicken. I would not even eat their food ever again for free. Not even for free

Ordered it Monday night @ 11pm and I had my DELICIOUS order by 11:30!!!!Super quick and friendly delivery. Ordered Fried Chicken and Red Velvet cake. I can't say enough about how delicious, fresh and even the next day ( leftovers ) were just as good !! Can't wait to order again !!)))

Krispy Krunchy is the new Popeye's. It's been years since Popeye's marinated their chicken spicy like that. You have to go there to get it done right, ordering delivery seems to be kind of risky. But fresh made, the chicken's got amazing crunch on the outside, lots of flavor and tender, juicy, spicy inside.
Food is fake 2 pieces of fish ???? Mixed with riced potatoes then deep fried hold up your thumb that's how much fish meat french fries are also fake MADE from mashed potato if you're in the mood for fish and chipsNOT HERE JUST WALK ON BY OVER PRICED AND THE DUDE BEHIND THE COUNTER STOP SINGING YOU CAN'TNEVER AGAIN I WILL WALK IN THAT DOOR

My rating for this place has toggled between 2 and 3 stars, but now that I've eaten here a few times, I'll stick with 2 stars. My main issue is consistency. Sometimes the chicken tastes fine, other times it's really dry and tough. The food sits under some high-powered food lamps behind the counter and it's hard to tell how long they've been sitting there. Even the best portions I've gotten are just okay at best. Consistency is also an issue for the chicken sandwiches. Sometimes the sandwich will have a decent sized patty/filet, other times they'll contain just half the portion that barely fills the bun. One of my sandwiches even had a patty that looked like it was ripped off from a larger piece. Fries are meh. The biscuits are just bad--really dry and covered in some kind of sticky syrup/sauce. Maybe Eric G is right and I'm just a miserable person, but I'm certain that eating here only adds to my misery.

WORST delivery experience ever!!!! Do not order. I called after 2 hours and they said to contact the deliver app as they wouldn’t come and it was up to me to get the refund. Trash! Plenty of better options in the city.

Amazing food, very delicious Crispy Chicken. Midly spiced up. All other food items such as meatballs, pasta and are good as well.Chicken was fresh and I really enjoyed the meal.You would ask why would I give 1 star if the food is good. I want take 4 starts off because how rude one of the main staff here is. I hope this review gets management attention and take necessary action.I don't want to mention his name but he need to understand I as local guide and i am writing on behalf of my fellow local guides as well, that we take pictures of the food items and the restaurant to help others make decisions. It's ok for staff to tell not to take pictures of food items but he could have been polite to his customer.I will leave 2 star rating for some time now and update later.

Those who know me know I love a good chicken sandwich and The Bird was not a letdown. Located in the heart of SF in the financial district on New Montgomery St, it's perfectly located for those who live or work around the area.
