We love the packaging design—well done on that! However, the compartment for chopsticks, sauce, and ginger was empty, which was disappointing and frustrating. We’ve been to other Krispy Rice locations where the rice wasn’t soggy, so we hope the team will rework the service and ensure proper training moving forward.
Additionally, there were no options to request spicy mayo or other additional sauces, which was surprising. It seems there's still much work to be done, and perhaps ordering online versus in-person leads to different experiences.

so ugly。 The shrimps were a bit dark when fried. It looked like they didn't replace the oil in their frying pan for more than 4day The color of the food doesn't look fresh either this is now sushi。?

Once I found Katsuya, I had a wonderful meal. If you go, walk past Whole Foods, Peloton and a half dozen potted trees. It is upstairs but there is an elevator. I had hamachi carpaccio - best I've very tasted, and the Katsuya roll - also very delicious. My server was lovely and the restaurant is beautiful
Literally the worst sushi I've ever had in my life.

The food was literally DISGUSTING. I ordered the Philly R8, it was supposed to have cream cheese but it didn’t even have a tiny bit. The food was cold and for delivered badly.
The picture I added was how the food was delivered

Completely awful - took us 30 mins to get food menus as they did not have enough. They forgot three of our meals for a party of 8. Everyone was finished eating and then they brought out the other three. Awful experience and will not go back.
Quite literally the worst sushi I’ve ever eaten. Threw away after the second bite. Several of the crispy rice pieces were completely discolored. We couldn’t distinguish between the different fish because everything with the exception of the crab looked like cat food purée. Wish I hadn’t taken the two bites I did as I’m now sick. Would recommend to enemies though.

These TikTok people are lying!!! This was worse than the fish paste we feed our cat and ended up in the trash. ? everything was falling apart, I would’ve needed a spoon if I were to eat it.

I really have never eaten such terrible sushi. The salmon roll actually tastes like onions, and the rolls are all made of rice. There is no meat. They are so expensive. You could have robbed me, but you gave me a roll.

I ordered for delivery through UberEats and never received my order. They restaurant does their own deliveries so there was no way for me to track it. The number UberEats has is disconnected so UE refunded me. These people seem to be crooks. Don't waste your entire lunch break waiting like I did!

Went here last year for my birthday and everything was amazing. Came back last night with a group. Food unfortunately got much worse. Spicy tuna crispy rice, my favorite crispy rice out there, really let me down and left me quite embarrassed when my friends tried it. Rolls were fine. Too expensive for what it is. Did get free shots though so that was alright.
An Unforgettable Memorial Day Dinner at Katsuya NYC I recently had the pleasure of dining at Katsuya NYC over Memorial Day weekend, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff and immediately felt the inviting atmosphere. The modern decor with a touch of traditional Japanese elegance set the perfect mood for the evening. We started our meal with the crispy rice with spicy tuna, which was an explosion of flavors and textures. The tuna was fresh and perfectly seasoned, and the crispy rice added a delightful crunch. Next, we had the miso black cod, which was cooked to perfection. The fish was tender and flaky, with a rich and savory miso glaze that left us wanting more. The highlight of the night was undoubtedly the omakase sushi platter. Each piece of sushi was a masterpiece, showcasing the chef's skill and dedication to quality. The fish melted in our mouths, and the presentation was beautiful. We also tried the Wagyu beef sliders, which were juicy and flavorful, a great twist on a classic dish. The cocktails were equally impressive. The Katsuya Fresh was a refreshing blend of cucumber and vodka, perfect for a warm evening, while the Lychee Martini offered a sweet and sophisticated finish to our meal. The service was impeccable throughout the night. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring that our glasses were never empty. Despite the busy holiday weekend, the staff managed to make us feel special and well taken care of. Overall, Katsuya NYC exceeded all our expectations and made our Memorial Day dinner truly memorable. We can't wait to return and explore more of their exquisite menu. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience in the city!
