Kubeh did an AMAZING job with a recent big catered meal at our home. Food, service, warmth, kindness, etc all A+++. Everyone loved every bite. We've also had a great time and loved the meal every time we've eaten at the restaurant. One of our NYC faves!

My buddy and I had dinner reservations at the (new and chic) bar. Starting with an adorable filled-date amuse bouche (I wanted more but they weren't for sale, alas), I had the lamb shank (OMG large & parfait) and the lovely owner/chef Melanie stopped by to chat. I live around the corner, so it's a great place to drop in for lunch or dinner (but it's getting popular so reservations are probably needed). Not too $$$ and Persian flavorings add an unusual/welcome angle.

Food is phenomenal. Got the eggs Benedict on latkes with bacon. Everything was crispy and the eggs broke PERFECTLY. Stunning. I asked for hot sauce and they brought their own. Not a bottle!

Horrible experience. Waited 30+ minutes for our appetizer while another table seated after us was served two courses. When it finally arrived they gave us regular pita when we ordered gluten free pita and explicitly told them two of us at the table had allergies. After we ate some the server came over with “bad news” and when we asked if it the pita had gluten he said yes and laughed. We both got very ill as a result. Only reason I have 2 stars is because of the care of the manager and owner who took all the food and drinks off the bill and followed up over email.

The fantastic, lively restaurant with friendly people and amazing food. The beef kubeh was one of the best I have ever tried. Had Aldo discovered a couple of Middle Eastern dishes, which I didn't try before. My two cents: I would prefer a better selection of Israeli wines and I would suggest to use less salty olives in a mezze.

We held a private corporate event on 7/10 for 25 people and the service and food was outstanding. Working with the staff in advance was easy and they were so kind and helpful even up to the last minute with changes. Price point is great for a NYC private event. Highly recommend.

I had an amazing meal at Kubeh. The Middle Eastern Kurdish food was full of flavor and made with real care. The fried kubeh was rich, and served warm and freshly home made
The meze dishes were fresh and delicious, especially the eggplant and lentils. Every bite felt honest and full of tradition.
This place is a true gem. I’ll definitely be back.

Food was reasonably priced for the city, but underwhelming. The eggplant was a knock off Ottolenghi dish and was super bland. The staff were stressed- I appreciate what they were accomplishing, but it felt as though it was likely a bad working environment behind closed doors.
The kofta had some nice flavours and to be fair nothing was overtly terrible or offensive, I just feel disappointed.

Best lamb shank I’ve ever had, amazingly unique and spot on flavors. Can’t wait to come back.

The food was very good. Haven’t seen Kurdish food anywhere else in NYC (especially the fried Kubeh and the Kufteh).

Came to Kubeh for dinner. I was specifically looking for Muhammara dip with the pita bread. Kubeh seemed to be the only place having it on their menu in the area.
I ordered the Muhammara with the pita bread and the Chicken Shawarma. The pita bread was fluffy and really good and tasted great with the dip. However, I didn't enjoy the chicken shawarma and found the quantity to be less for the price. It was also stated as a large plate, so I was a little taken aback by seeing the portion size.
The atmosphere was great and the staff were really helpful and they made sure I was comfortable. I was also given a single date palm that was on the house. However, I don't think I will be returning, cause the food didn't really hit it off for me for the price .
