The dumplings were simply steamed hot pockets for folks that know what hot pockets are. The pork dumpling was a hot mess and basically a meatball packed inside. Shame that it wasn't any better. The steam buns were less tasty since they had a vegetable medley of broccoli inside. Not much flavor nor worth the price of admission. Too bad for them. Hopefully the cooks taste the food before serving it to the public and make adjustments. Not going back!

The roast duck ramen was simple, but every element was delicious. Handmade egg noodles, buttery bok choy, roast duck that falls off the bone, and stems of fresh cilantro. The bun was excellent too, better than I expected.

Tucked away in the heart of Manhattan, Kung Fu Steamed Bun Ramen serves up some seriously satisfying Chinese comfort food. Having received Michelin recognition in 2018, expectations were high-and they didn't disappoint!
/ Little Steamed Buns - The delicate, thin skin held a rich, savory soup that burst out upon the first bite. A must-try for soup dumpling lovers!
Stir-Fried Hand-Cut Noodles with Beef - The wok hei (that amazing smoky stir-fry aroma) was spot on, but the dish leaned a bit salty for my taste. Still, the texture of the hand-cut noodles was excellent.
Shrimp & Pork Dumpling Soup - My personal favorite! The dumplings were generously sized, with tender, juicy filling swimming in a flavourful broth. Pure comfort in a bowl!

Sticky Rice Balls in Sweet Rice Soup - A warm, hearty way to end the meal. The chewy rice balls, filled with fragrant black sesame, added the perfect touch of sweetness.
If you're craving authentic Chinese flavours with solid execution, this spot is definitely worth a visit. What's your go-to dish when eating Chinese? Let me know in the comments.

[UBER EATS ORDER]
- Dumplings were alright, very doughy. Wish there was a bit more umph to them. The sauce was literally vinegar and soya, did not feel super inventive
- the assorted family pack of dumplings were better than the plain pork ones (those were less exciting)
- scallion pancake was dry / oily, maybe that’s how it’s meant to be
- The boba had very very very hard tapioca. I was not a huge fan

They may be better in person. 12 dumplings, boba, scallion pancakes were ~$45-55 which felt high for me (granted some uber fees)

Awesome experience here, so glad we visited. Very unassuming little place but the food was incredible - I had the spicy beef ramen and peking duck buns - plus great service and good value.

Was craving noodle soup last night while in the area so popped in when I saw that they had beef noodle soup on the menu. It's a super unassuming restaurant, but hands down, one of my favorite beef noodle soups in the city (and I've had a lot)!

Quick service, very few diners but as expected for a holiday monday evening.

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian broth available for hand pulled noodles.

Some of the most delicious food I've ever had!! Everything came fast and was fresh, went in at around 4:30 and was the only customer in the restaurant, had all my food by 4:45 the latest. Very nice people as well!

I mistakenly ordered from this restaurant on Uber Eats and immediately called them to explain the situation. They told me to cancel the order through the app, so I did. Despite this, I was charged because they claimed they had “already started cooking.”

Uber Eats’ customer support later informed me that the restaurant didn’t confirm the cancellation until the last minute. This feels deceptive—why tell me to cancel if they never intended to cooperate? It seems like a tactic to keep the money even when the order was never picked up or eaten.

I won’t be ordering from this restaurant again, and I encourage others to be cautious.
