Solid ramen, pork was cold. Broth was good. Price was average ~$17 for a bowl without add-on toppings. No napkins provided by the restaurant, but there are napkins all around the food court.

I am a regular here. All ingredients are fresh and high quality and I totally recommend this place for a decent Ramen. Aka Obi is their signature and everyone order that one. The only caveat is their soup is not proportionate to the ingredients so when you order a Ramen and add one or two additional toppings, the soup gets cold because the ingredients including meats, spinach, and bamboo shoots pre cooked and served cold. They should make their bowl a bit bigger and add more soup to it to serve Ramen hot.

Very tasty broth! I ordered the kuro-obi ramen with an egg. Noodles cooked to perfection. Chicken was a bit tough but overall a good lunch eat the day after a holiday party. We went around 12:35pm and the wait was about 10 minutes or so. There are tables to sit and eat but I took mine to-go. Be sure to ask for utensils or grab some as they did not add them to the take away bag, and I realized as it was too late.

Pretty decent ramen spot located in Urban Space in the Helmsley Building. It's an over the counter style. Restaurant so everything is premade and served when ordered for take out. Good option if you're in a hurry.

Said it was open until 5, it was closed before 3.

Some of the best ramen in the city, truly. I have eaten ramen every where and this takes the cake!

The chicken is way too salty and the broth is on the salty side too. The bamboo shoot is good but spinach just doesn't go well with ramen.

Ramen was ok. Nothing too special. I wish they wouldn’t be so selfish on the noodles.

I used to go here when I worked in Midtown 4-5 years back. I always got the Aka obi. This past week I went back to try and it was not what I remembered. Instead of Pork broth it is now chicken broth and even the charsiu was chicken. It was still good but nowhere near as good as it once was. At $14 for a small bowl or ramen with chicken is a bit steep in my opinion.

The soup was excellent! A little bit salty and very flavorful. In addition, the atmosphere of Urbanspace made it even better! I hope I get to come again!

I actually haven't eaten here but I'm in the urban space which is a food court and they are one of the many many vendors here. I wouldn't recommend coming here on a weekday as I'm sure the people who work in the area just fill this place up and in fact I can attest to that. But on a weekend particularly if you want to check out the new Grand Central. Madison, a great idea. Your choice of cure OB planet plant junkie Roberta's, red hook, lobster pound, Mikey pompadour and many many other food places is great. Recommended

Solid ramen! I got the vegetarian/vegan Ki-Obi, and the broth was super flavorful. Not sure if the broth had MSG or other unnatural flavors because it was so delicious haha. Noodle and toppings were delicious. Line wasn't long at all at 1pm on a weekday!

I'm torn because they have lots of options but the food is mediocre at best. It's like a food court at the mall but with a bar. I guess good for drinks but I wouldn't recommend coming just for food

This is located at the Vanderbilt Urbanspace.Make sure you know what you want before getting on line. As soon as I reached the cashier, she asked me garlic or spicy so I replied garlic and aka-obi. Next thing I know she is asking for a payment of $30+. I asked her what did I get, she said red belt and black belt so she fixed the order and I am waiting for my number to be called.I get my order and go find a place to eat. The dish is very salty and ramen is overcooked. Not my best nor my worse ramen. Will see if next time is the same issue or not.
