A friend and I went in with high hopes, but the food just did not deliver. Everything was overpriced for the quality of the food. I usually love fusion places, but KYU’s dishes were all over the place when it came to the flavor. The pictures look way better than the actual dishes.Tuna crispy rice was pretty bland. And for $32, the quality was not good.Stone pot thai fried rice with duck - also overpriced for the quality. The rice was mushy.Baby back ribs - too salty.Would not recommend. There are way better fusion restaurants in the City.

We had an amazing dinner at the chefs table. The food was really good and they went above and beyond to accommodate a person in our party with dietary restrictions. The drinks were delicious and the service was great overall no complaints and will definitely return.

Went for brunch and were the only ones there which should have raised a red flag! The scones were decent but the egg sandwich was HORRIBLE! Looked like an egg version of spam. Forced myself to eat half and had indigestion all day. And it was so expensive!

Always a delicious menu, but missing the soft shell crab, mussels, bone marrow, tuna tataki..please bring them back.. Wonderful staff ..Always a pleasure dining at KTU.

For a nice brunch spot, this is the spot. Overall great vibes and friendly staff, definitely coming back for dinner. The food was great with some Korean influences that make the food a bit more unique.

I know KYU food very well as I have experienced this in Miami for several years. It's my favorite restaurant. Unfortunately, the Korean BBQ Chicken was very hard on the outside, almost like a shell. The meat was dry. Even the coconut cake tasted dry. ? the service was good and the Wynwood Mule should have come in a copper cup, not a glass pineapple. ?

I had an early lunch with a companion and was dazzled by the astonishing food and sweet servers. The servers found an opportunity to make sense of the dishes and assisted them with picking what to arrange. Every one of the things they requested was flavorful and the servers showed restraint in furnishing them with quality assistance. The author is anticipating visiting the eatery once more.?

Writing a quick update to say, this place still checks off the boxes for me! Needed to find a last-minute brunch spot in the city that my friends living in all different boroughs could reach easily. We were looking for something Asian inspired and I thought of this place. We were easily able to make a next-day reservation to accommodate a large party (7) for 12:15. The restaurant was not crowded and our server was great. We had two pitchers of lychee bellinis (YUM!) and guava bellinis (skip, the flavor is not very strong). For apps, we had the everything scones which were amazing. The chive miso butter and cherry jam were the perfect pairing. I wanted to eat the whole basket! We also had the tuna crispy fried rice which was better for me this time around. For entrees, we got an array of different things including the duck scramble, short rib hash, and ssamjang chicken sandwich (does not come with a side FYI). For me, the star was the eggs benedict with short rib! I loved how tender the meat was and how perfectly cooked the poached eggs were. My only gripe was that the hollandaise had too much yuzu in it for my taste. I ordered this with a side of breakfast potatoes which were also solid. For dessert, we had the Thai tea shaved ice which was massive. Each bite was a little different between the bites of boba, Nutella mousse, and whipped cream. Overall, a fantastic brunch and another reason to come back to this place! Rating: 4.5/5 stars!

The seating and Ambience were perfect for our valentines day, and our waitress Aleen was super friendly and helpful. She was very cheerful, gave us the perfect recommendations, and always checked in on us. The food was exemplary, as we started with the Corn Crispy Rice which had a perfect contrast in textures starting with the creaminess of the corn to the crispy outer layer of rice and then completing it with the soft and inner starchy rice. The flavor of the yuzu and kosho really helped make the corn shine. Next we had the Baby Back Ribs, which were grilled perfectly and had a marvelous barbecue glaze that was complimented perfectly by the cilantro, ginger, and lime. The meat was tender and came right off the bone, and it wasn't messy at all. After the ribs, we had the Korean Fried Chicken, which had their homemade chili butter that went perfectly with the chicken. The portion size was too much for the two of us so we took it to go, but the texture of the chicken and the flavor of the sauce were definitely worth it. We finished our meal with the Filet Mignon Yakitori, which was by no means any less delicious than the rest of the dishes. The filet was a perfect medium rare, full of umami with notes of toasted garlic and soy, and was complimented nicely by the kimchi and scallions on top.

Took my girlfriend out for a nice dinner and the server asked if we had any allergies (im soo sorry i forgot his name). My girlfriend is allergic to raw soy, so he took his time and spoke to the chefs and crossed it out and devised a menu that was safe to eat. I ate the ribs. Absolutely to die for. They fell off the bone, melted in your mouth like butter. They didn't skimp out on the cilantro on it either. It had plenty! The Korean fried chicken was crispy and soo juicy. It's spicy, yes, not too crazy. And last the corn crispy rice was fantastic. Similar to the profile of elote but extremely elevated. Prices of the food are a more on the expensive side but the portions, flavor and quality is absolutely worth it. Will definitely come back

It's obvious this isn't a kid friendly restaurant but there should be at least a couple of things they're prepared to make...families still go to trendy restaurants, just early. Was a very difficult experience with kids - even basics like the rice is made spicy (from a kids perspective).

Always a pleasure dining at Kyu. My boyfriend and I found Kyu on Instagram about a year and a half ago. Since then, every special occasion or date night is spent at their NY location. Everything on their menu is a hit. People who say it’s expensive/small portions - it’s meant to be shared - or at least that’s how we like to go about it - and honestly how everyone should. In my opinion, pricing is fair for the experience and the food never disappoints. We tend to spend a lot here - it’s hard not to when we know the food is a hit. This isn’t your average asian cuisine. Don’t expect your typical “appetizer, entree, etc”. Order what you please and your server will course it out to your liking.Hospitality is out of this world - just tonight our server went above and beyond to send us something on the house because we mentioned wanting to try it (forgot his name but made our evening one to remember). I’m in the restaurant industry myself so I can appreciate the hospitable atmosphere and they’re right on the mark. They do tend to get busy around 7:30PM most nights (as most places do, and good for them!) so opt for a 6/6:30 reservation time and dare to try new things. Can’t wait to try their Vegas and Miami spot! Thanks Kyu!

Came here for brunch with a friend and the food was absolutely amazing!!! Servers were so sweet and took the time to explain the food that came out and also helped us decide on what to order. Everything we ordered was delicious. The servers were super patient with us and wanted to make sure we got the best quality treatment. I can’t wait to visit again!!!
