Enjoyed myself. The food and its portions was okay, but the customer service was spot on. Definitely will be going back.

Went here to support local business. Brought a friend with me. They had one server who was young and didn't seem to know what he was doing. The order I wanted was sold out. The credit card machine was down and they wanted to me to Zelle them but he didn't even tell us that directly, we overheard him tell another table then we had to ask. Ended up walking out because the food was taking too long on top of everything else being a mess.

Went here with my wife when we're randomlyPassing by, we came in thinking we will just get a quick drink but ended up having brunch. We had the steak and eggs and it was amazing! We really caught off guard from how good it was. The atmosphere was the typical brunch vibe, dj, drinks, but not much dancing. Still a good spot in Harlem to try out.

This place has decent food and drinks.Complaint: my diabetic friend ordered a diet coke and they brought regular coke. It didn't taste right. When we asked the second waiter, we found out they don't carry any diet options. My friend's sugar was elevated requiring more insulin because they did not tell us to begin with.

Horrible experience I will not be going again waited over an half hour for 2 burgers and steak which was still not done properly mind you we were the only customers in the diner… the host and daughter came and got their food and was eating in our faces almost immediately then when we got up to leave they rushed my steak it was just a mess… they tried to cover the bad experience with free nasty churrios and margarita shots…. You would think the place was crowded I was highly disappointed

Walked in here last night w my family, 4 in total. The ambiance was nice, the music was a bit loud because we were unable to hear ourselves, but the choice of music was good. The waiter was great. He even gave us a round of free tequila shots. He was very friendly and attentive. I was intending to give him a good tip for his services. The food was great and I would revisit only if I weren’t charged a surprise gratuity fee of $21.80 and an additional heaping credit card fee of $5.60.I’ve paid gratuity fees at other restaurants but the gratuity fee was noted on the menu and it was not noted on La Avenida LLC restaurant. Also, gratuity fees are usually for a large group of people. Again, we were a party of 4.Disappointed because other than that, the food was great. Sort of feel these surprise charges are implemented in an attempt to extort more money from the customer.. unhappy customer-

Great local spot for after work drinks and snacks or date night. Cheerful staff. Cozy atmosphere.

Got takeout a few times here. Pretty solid options and portions, and so damn tasty! I know the food trucks in this neighborhood are popular, but this spot is totally worth trying if you're willing to shell out a few bucks more...

Yesterday my family went to La Avenida for brunch to celebrate my brother's birthday. I had seen a flyer for a day party called "Tacos and Tequila." I am so glad we decided to go here! The restaurant is pretty small, but we literally had the place to ourselves - about 15-20 people. The DJ was dope! He kept us dancing the entire afternoon! I ordered several pitchers of margaritas and they were STRONG - just how we like them! The food was great too - definitely try the shrimp quesadilla and the shrimp nachos!! Both were amazing! We LOVED the staff - the owner danced with us, gave us multiple rounds of shots, and there were no issues getting the large tables. Just a heads up, they only take cash or Zelle - I wasn't aware, but it wasn't too complicated; I paid them through Zelle and everyone just paid me back. I'll definitely be coming back the next time I come back home to the city! Until then, happy eating!

Hi I was at La Avenida for bunch. This place need to treat there customer fairly. One of the servers saw me on camera that I took a drink from the bottomless menu and I would be charge extra. First of all he first didn’t warn me about this situation before hand and second my friend girlfriend offered it to me. Just to be clear I didn’t take it to have a free drink. So to the owner I know you need to run your business and make a profit but there’s a saying “ what comes around goes around”. I was there to have a good time with friends. If you judge people in this behavior. Please ask before you assume because you don’t want someone to judge you as well. Hope you take this seriously.

From the moment we got there to when we left our server took care of us. They even unwrapped new patio furniture for us! Our server was so friendly and nice. The food was incredible. I got the pollo tacos and it was so fresh and seasoned just right.

Their happy hour prices are listed but I felt as though they were charging more per drink? I couldn't tell bc they didn't take card (only cash and zelle) so I didn't know what was actually charged. The check was whatever they wrote our order down on and they would just tell us the number of how much it cost. With that said, the drinks were good and lots of space to chill and dance. Fries were pretty good too.

Polite staff and great ambiance and decor. Unfortunately my friend and I were served the wrong drinks. We ordered mojitos and they brought us piña coladas because they didnt have mint. That should have been brought to our attention during the placement of the order instead of being provided with whatever drink they wanted afterwards. We tried to work with the staff and accepted the drinks afterwards as we just wanted to have a good time. The drink was subpar and very overpriced. I was expecting a reduction in price for the error or free drink which is typical in hospitality/restaurant industry. Final tab for only 2 drinks that night was $41 which included their own gratuity charge which was pricey relative to service. I was pouring my own water from a pitcher left on a reserved table. I prefer to tip (and I tip well) based on service. I appreciate one of the staff members trying to remedy the situation with a shot of rum after I brought the tab and drink issue to their attention but we were on our way out. I would have preferred the right order and/or better quality drink for the price and/or being offered a free drink while we were actually at the table and not on the way out.
