I like this place best for breakfast lunch or brunch. Today's meal was simple scrambled eggs with chives, salad (in lieu of berries), brioche toast and extra side of chicken Apple sausage. I recalled the eggs from months ago had goat cheese in them, which I missed, especially since the eggs were a tad dry from overcooking them. They also were bland and needed more chives. This is truly a great bakery! We had pancakes, a pain au chocolat, and a small tart. Everything was absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend it.
The service was quick, and the waiter was very kind and helpful, especially in guiding us to choose the right food for my girlfriend, who has a nut allergy.
The only downside is the price. We spent $50 for breakfast, which I think is quite expensive.

You can’t be a very savvy business owner if you don’t maximize potential sales. Bergamots sells only TWO Apple turnovers (chausson aux pommes) every day. You might get one if you are lucky or if you arrive when they open first thing in the morning. There are plenty of other things. Even at the end of the day. Wouldn’t you think that after repeatedly pointing it out, and I am not the only one, they might have thought of adding a handful more?!
