Well first things first -it's not a bakery, French or otherwise. It more resembles a junked up convenience store. I don't mind a dive bar/breakfast place but the food or service had better be great and unfortunately they were O for 3. Dirty -to the point where I'm surprised we didn't get food poisoning. Too many food safety violations within view to count. Unremarkable service in all regards but the 1 egg omelettes and "famous" French Toast that a 6 year old could've made better at home took the cake. $70 for 3 people who left hungry adds up to one lousy place.

Stellar!! You'll have to wait in line (no reservations) but it doesn't take too long. Service is good and food comes out quick. Extremely reasonably priced and really incredible food. No frills diner and authentic new york experience. Could not recommend this place enough

If you want old school nyc vibe this is the place. The pancakes were excellent. I wish they had real maple syrup but they were perfect without syrup so I didn’t care. Friendly fun staff. Passable coffee. I’d go back for breakfast again. Cash Only - I’d try other things too next time.

The pancakes were amazing. So buttery and delicious along with the french toast. Our server was kind and it is in the sweetest diner with warm outdoor seating. We loved it.

Great service and great food! I got the chocolate chip pancakes and was gull halfway through but powered on. Such a cute diner and they sell hoodie and tshirts with cute drawings on them.

It's a cool old real NYC diner you can get full and not have to spend alot of money. The menu is huge. The place has some serious history you can feel it when you're inside lol and for that they get 5 stars from me❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️This is what'd you call a greasy spoon.Nice friendly staff. I'd been meaning to visit this place for a while and I'm happy I finally got the chance to do so. We got there before 10.30am on a Sunday and were able to get seated right away on the outdoor shed. By the time we left, there was quite a long line out the door. It's a very casual, no frills, fast meal. The food was solid and service was prompt. I really enjoyed the old-school diner vibes.
