This is a rare find: a genuine, small, family-run restaurant in NYC. If you want authentic Salvadoran and Latin American food, this is the place to go. I had shrimp ceviches, a fantastic, juicy, and cool lunch on a hot summer day; my friends got pupusas and a sausage and rice breakfast. The price is also extremely affordable. Service was warm, fast, and friendly. It doesn't have the posh appearance of a high-end restaurant, but it makes you feel like you're in an old-school New York establishment instead. Recommend!

Yes, the staff is busy, and you have to flag them down occasionally, but I sense that’s because they are actually making the food. I’ve seen them rolling the pupusas, hand squeezing limeaid, chopping cabbage... If you want food that tastes like someone took their time to make it, at a price that is unbeatable, come here. They never let me down. ❤️ Recommend: everything! But yes pupusas are a must and the casamiento ?

Please avoid going to this place, it has terrible service, the people are totally disrespectful, they took the order to all the tables except mine, regardless of the fact that there were children waiting to eat. They didn't even offer an apology. If I could choose zero I would choose them, they don't deserve even one star.
