Worst service in Washington Heights. Went in for dinner March 26 with family. A couple other diners were there. Waited 10-15 mins for menus. After another 15 mins with no service I went to counter to tell them we'd like to order. Meanwhile we watched take-out customers come in and place orders. Another 10 minutes later we left. They didn't care and didn't even say "Sorry." I've eaten there several times in the past & liked the food. I'll never go back and will warn friends & neighbors.

I had the grilled steak tamale and papusa meal #7. A little bit of everything. I loved it

Small and cozy, this little Washington Heights gem has home style Salvadoran dishes, beginning with pupusas (corn cakes stuffed with meat, beans, cheese, etc) topped with savory coleslaw. The chicken soup was just right on a cold winter night. Fried plantain, both ripe, sweet, and the starchy, salty green types, were on point. Rice and beans complete the meal.

Oh my goodness, I just have to share my latest food discovery with you! I found the most amazing pupusa spot, and I am absolutely over the moon about it! The 3 Ings pupusa with pork, cheese, and beans was out of this world. It was perfectly cooked and had such a delicious flavor all on its own. But wait, it gets even better! They also serve it with a side of pickled cabbage and homemade tomato sauce that just takes it to the next level. And the best part? They have other types of pupusas to choose from, including a vegetable one that I can't wait to try. Plus, they offer takeout which is super convenient. And let's talk about the price for a moment - it's a steal! You get a larger pupusa for only $3, which is way better than the smaller and more expensive ones you find on the street. I recommend getting one if you're not too hungry, two for a medium-sized portion, and three or more if you're really hungry. Trust me, this place is a gem and I can't wait to go back! And of course they have other items in their menu to choose from.

Whenever I crave pupusas in the city, this is where I go. There aren’t as many Salvadoran restaurants in NY compared to LA, but more seem to be popping up and I love it. I highly recommend this spot for delicious pupusas!
