Can confirm this place is worth the hype. I went in the middle of the day and when I got there I walked right in, but by the time I left a line was snaking down the block. It’s smaller inside than I expected but a decent amount of seating (some community, some standing). I loved the paintings, the vibe is definitely warm and charming and the cardamom bun is indeed a little triumph. All the pastries looked fantastic, particularly the laminated ones and I cannot wait to come back...
I’ve loved this place since the day they opened. They have one of the best cardamom buns and cannelés and the matcha is so delicious, perfect taste and color a 10/10.

Espresso is a hobby of mine, I use a manual lever at home, never milk. When I saw $13 for a shot of Sudan Rume Natural I thought: ok, show me. The shot blew me away. Fruity and very sweet just as described, with a complex herbal aroma as well; it was the best shot I've had out (as it should be). I'll be back with great expectations!
