Been coming to la chula for ages now and have never had a problem with food or service until now.The cashier, JORGE, was the most rude experience I’ve had with anyone at the establishment. They refused to hand me my order ( the cook had to literally tell them to hand it to me). They then would intermittently laugh at me as I waited for my food. Whoever this person is, they should be let go. They are both rude and a disservice to the establishment as a whole.Although, Shout out to The cook; the food was amazing as usual for me. I just don’t know if I feel comfortable dining here again if said cashier is there, which is a shame.

Tacos were great. They look small but stuffed with meat. We had pollo and birria. Both excellent and filling.Staff were friendly, but the wait time was a bit too long. They seemed to be cooking one item at a time, which made the food taste fresh , but def too long for 2 tacos.Other than that, this is an awesome place that I’d recommend.

Ordered a burrito bowl to go, pointed to bowl on the menu. Rice, beans, pico, mushrooms. They proceed to make me a burrito to stay. Second time, a full burrito bowl with dressing and dairy which they tried to shove in the bag so I did not see.I'm not sure what the deal is here, but they then made it without mushrooms so I left. Just plain incompetence.

I came here for a late-night snack. I had the best churros and margaritas. The drinks were well-balanced and the churros were fresh. The staff was friendly and the decor was super cute. I will definitely come back.

I love this Harlem Gem, Gyo always provides top quality services putting together the best margaritas in town! It's my to go place to pick up dinner for my little one and myself after a long day. No disappointment, just great ambience and food.

My food came immediately upon ordering and everything was de looks. I got birria tacos with consommé and esquite. Great little spot.

I really enjoyed my vegetarian tacos! I also got elote, which was VERY mayo-y so I ended up taking a lot off and it took a the seasoning with it :(They also make a mean margarita - I ordered it skinny since I don't like sweet cocktails and it packed a punch. The only draw back is service - they had one waiter and one bartender for the whole place so it felt pretty slow at pints.

I have eaten from here many times. This time, at 3:45 on a Wednesday, I ordered a bowl and asked for a little more lettuce than rice and beans, and she agreed and didn't suggest I need to pay more money for a little extra iceberg lettuce. The bowl was prepared with excessive amounts of cheese, plenty of rice and beans, and so few shreds of lettuce that I could count them on my fingers. I went to the counter to say there's almost no lettuce, and she put up a fight, saying next time I'll get lettuce if I pay for the lettuce. She then went to the register and said if you want more lettuce you have to pay and waved her head. I said I guess you want a bad review--and she turned around and sat on the counter. So here it is.

Had delicious tacos and excellent nachos (the meat was obviously good, but also the tortilla chips were a perfect texture).

The Food is on point, staff is chill, service was fast. It's a small Cozy spot with the option of having outdoor dining . We had loaded pork nachos, Mexican corn , fish taco, alpastor tacos and birria tacos. To drink Mexican coke and Orchata. Definitely check out the art in the bathroom was very artistic. Loved it definitely one of my favorite spots to hit up they also deliver.

Can’t lie when they initially opened & were being managed by the owners/executive chef it had to be one my my favorite restaurants in the area. They’ve progressively gotten worst since the initial opening & the owners have stepped away from monitoring.Personally I’ve had three separate issues with my partner receiving the incorrect order or worst contamination of her veterinary order with meat. Their response for all three instances was “There is a lot of cooking happening, we can’t control what gets mixed in.”Separate from the three vegetarian/contamination issue I’ve personally seen a decline in their meat quality. Personally when they Initially opened I went on average 1-2 a week. So wholeheartedly I can say the quality was amazing initially. Now any of their meat dishes are drenched in grease/fat. It’s sad to see the decline, I had high hopes. Nonetheless I’ll always remember the initial weeks when they opened, it was truly amazing.
